Hello people! Nice to read you. Now to wait 2 years to see them together. "Don't have a good day, have a great day" to all of you. HAHA No one noticed Tammy Thompson, comment if you saw her or recognized her. 👇
YES. It’s the bare minimum nowadays, but this is the eighties and not only does he not judge her for being gay, he also supports her and her lovelife without being a creep about it.
Vickie is totally Anne’s talkative character. That’s really cool. I really wish to see Vickie also as a main character in the season 5 of stranger things !
I don’t want her to be a main character 1 there’s too many of them already 2 if she isn’t a main character nothing bad can happen to her meaning we only have to worry about something bad happening to Robin
@@mysteriouscolours1532Bad things did happen to the unimportant characters in the show. Do you remember Chrissy, Fred, Barbara? Main characters seems hard to die (like Hopper)
aww i love how supportive steve is. and even after he confessed to liking robin, and she explained that shes lesbian, their relationship always remained the same
@@Ahxhdjdjdhs no I mean acting gay because we already know she is gay so she's being gay throughout the show I meant these are the times when her sexuality is apparent to the audience
Vickie's face around 5:59 shows that she likely has feelings for Robin, but she doesn't know how to express it. It looks like she's upset that Robin saw that happen, I'm glad they started talking at the end of the season
In fairness at the time coming out was a fairly major risk. She might not have even understood her own feelings. Non-hetero in addition to standard teenage confusion over who you are.
Preach. AWOE is my favorite show of all time because of how well it tackles important messages adapted to a time when no one was talking about them. It deserved better and it would be amazing if the writers give us another season.
Omg! I really wish Vickie comes back in s5, because if she doesn't come back it is missed opportunity, and also it does not make sense in story telling way, because of what did happen at the finale of this season. Vickie was talking to Robin, and she understood how Vickie was feeling like. 😱😱😮😮🤔🤔
@@nolanschotanus2769 My biggest fair is if she ends up with Robyn and her boyfriend comes back wanting her back but sees shes with robin hed try kill vickie.
They have came a long way from Steve trying to get with her til now. I still think about the scene and the fear she had when Steve wasn't saying anything, she was so sure he would tell her it's wrong or disgusting but in reality he just needed to let her know her taste in girls sucks because the girl she was crushing on couldn't sing 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 now the beginning of season 4 was the inside joke from that scene is so brilliant and shows how strong the friendship has grown.
ur damn right on that. her being gay does not feel like a tick box exercise from disney. it was so natural with her, when she came out. this is how u do representsion
Agree. this is Robin. She happens to also be gay in addition to everything else.' not 'This is gay robin!' Sure it' s a major thing going on with her but that's because that's a major thing for anyone especially then. She's so damned much More though and I'm glad SOMEONE finally gets it right! It's not a damend checkbox. it isn't the sole character trait. it isn't there to be fetishized. It's... a person's struggle to come to terms with. Same as anyone else young and trying to figure shit out.
Same! I feel like they nailed the depiction of the dorky subtlety of the awkward flirting that is common among us; the sandwich scene was the sweetest.
As a striaght dude i utterly adore their relationship. He's a total bro for her, a solid constant that she can rely on in a time when saying the wrong thing can get her basically blackballed through the whole town. Plus this is the same guy that was an utter asshole in S1. he hada great turnaround without utterly turning his character unrecognizeable. you can see the path he took to get from jerk to wingman. More people need to be as supportive as Steve.
Absolute masterstroke that the writers paired Steve first with Dustin and then with Robin. Really helped him develop and I reckon he has become the best character on the show as a result.
truth Steve was happy and it was emotional for Steve to see Robin talking to Vickie and Steve has no prejudice because Robin being a lesbian Steve continues to be friend with Robin
I like how the music goes on longer the more they talk. Like the one scene with her bf the music cut out for a darker theme. While the the last scene it doesn’t cut out at all and just plays out, I’m talking about the Vickie scenes
Should vickie join the group? The duffers said that season 5 the final season will have the same style of season 1, so mike and his party will be on their own until episode 8, and nancy's teen group, and hopper's adult group. So if the duffers wanted to, they can bring vickie in as the last new member of the group, since she's technically not a new character in season 5, I think it won't be a bad idea.
I agree, she should be part of the main cast. I only wish Karen was part of it though cause she’s been really good this series, she’s kind of like Joyce in a way cause they’re both protective over their family and it would seem fitting if we got those two characters together like Mike and Will
I wouldn't mind it if she went the Suzie route, in that she got more development but wasn't in the midst of the danger with the main groups. Vickie seems sweet, empathetic, and and just generally adorkable but I'm not sure I want her facing off against demogorgons and the supernatural. Such a thing could be traumatizing, and while it's cool to see Nancy, Steve, Robin and the kids be shown to be capable monster slayers, if yet *another* everyday teenager does it, I feel like it'll just be silly. We'll see.
@@Unownshipper we still don't know how they're gonna handle the time jump between seasons 4 and 5. Like, what if they decide to turn Hawkins into a Racoon City hellscape after the military fails to contain the Upside Down's spread across Hawkins (ala Resident Evil); and since then, the gang pretty much becomes the resistance, and Vickie's only way of survival is to join the gang under their protection? So maybe she won't be as freaked out over the Upside Down
@@joshuaromerogonzalez945 That'd certainly be an... unexpected route. Certainly a tone shift compared with the 80s era properties they've been drawing from (early Resident Evil is very 90s). Then again, the actors are starting to look pretty old (and very tall) to be a bunch of young kids, so they need to either have s5 start immediately when the left off or jump ahead a while. If they do go the RE way with it, they better have an explanation for why their parents didn't move their families as soon as the hell pocket opened... Mr. Wheeler doesn't seem like the type to stick around to fight for a cause.
@@Unownshipper Tbf: the original Resident Evil draws from The Shinning and Dawn Of The Dead, which came out before the 80s. Considering that season 5 is set to take place entirely in Hawkins, how much would an evacuation of the town be possible? Like maybe the army would mandate to evacuate Hawkins before trying to push back the spread, but if that goes south, the military would simply quarantine the town, then years later the gang would make one last attempt to close the gate by entering the abandoned town, which has since been taken over by the Upside Down's creatures. And maybe season 5 would take place in an abandoned Hawkins
Me emociona ver a Amybeth McNulty ❤️ en una serie tan increíble como Stranger Things, la verdad "Anne with an e " es mi serie favorita amo a Anne y al verla en Stranger Things otra serie que me gusta es simplemente ✨
@Shadow The Weirdo You’ve never seen Anne with an E have you? Just in case you haven’t, I’ll explain. So, during the last episode of AWAE, Anne’s love interest writes her a letter confessing that he loved her and said “My Anne with an E, you always have been.” This is because almost everyone thought her name was spelled without an e, because that was more common. Vickie just so happens to be played by the same actress as Anne. Hope this helps! :)
@@Definitely_not_aunt_Gertrude Ive read the book Anne Of Green Gables, taht is what the show is based off of j believe. However, it is a whole other thing, I understand you didn't mean literally but I'm a bit of an over thinker 😕
They do have a tendency to kill off every not main character teen. (Barb, billy, heather, Eddie… the blonde basketball dude from s4)… let’s hope nothing happens to Robbin either
Oh my god I was so happy to see her! I hope I see her in season 5. And oh btw, in the last scene she was just talking like her famous character Anne ❤❤❤
Honestly I relate to Robin so much, her being a lesbian, that mouth-faster-than-brain thing, never having the courage to ask a girl out... She's just weirdly me. Or I'm weirdly her.
Vickie is going to be Robins GF in the Final Season and We don't even know it yet... Edit: I know I'm both drunk and high but I'm pretty robin knows Vickie swings that way even Steve knows...
