I just freaking realized something. Robin in going through Nancy's cassettes while in her room, she probably will be the one to come up with the music needed to save Nancy from Vecna when Part 2 kicks off.
Given previous seasons, this might be an obvious one but I think it might be Toto's Africa. It would make sense both given context from the series since it's a reminder of a past love and her current situation with Johnathan
loved their dynamic, robin being loud and openly excited about everything that’s going on, while nancy is the quiet, put-together creative one. when robin stepped up to convince the director to let them see Victor the writers really showed how robin and nancy as a duo could work without making them stray away from their personalities.
Eh robin was kinda annoying to me this season. I don’t like that they gave her the thing where she over talks constantly. Like she does it the first time then says my mom says I over talk and stuff which isn’t terrible but then she does it constantly and it’s incredibly annoying at times.
@@jakajja4844 that was always her tho. I get it but she’s not acting ooc or anything. Last season she yapped a lot to Steve and after they went through sh*t together their dynamic changed
Romans 10:9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.....
@@AntiStraightMaleSociety she just thinks that there’s something between her and Steve. I really hope that in the second volume robin is gonna open up to her and tell her she’s gay
Romans 10:9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved....
@@lunietoonies ohhhhh. she’s basically super e excited about the fact that she has a Tom Cruise poster. But then what I think her reaction is (WHAT I THINK) is that she’s like omg oooo ima tease her about it. but idk
even if they don't end up as a couple, their friendship is incredible! nancy's composed, no-nonsense smarts paired with robin's chatty, sarcastic cleverness make them a power duo to be reckoned with.
@@reney4418 4 and 5 I think she doesn't ask but talks about Nancy and Jonathan relationship repeatedly. This is just me but if a girl I liked was in a relationship I'd occasionally ask about it checking to see if it was still current. Especially if it was long distance
i think in this season robin is a lot more idiot than him, like the scene when the bats bit him, when she roasts him with the spiders and the guns of the police part
Anyone notice the art in Nancy’s room right before she shows Robin the pink dress? It’s a print by Kandinsky from 1903 called the singer. The woman is in a pink dress and holding red roses - which traditionally symbolize beauty and courage - the piano player is in the dark. I know its a bit of a stretch, but maybe a hint to expect some brave action - can you imagine Robin singing someone’s fave song? 😃
Oh nice theory ! It's plausible Robin is a musician and her little speech at the hospital proved that she can stand up and use her voice when needed, so it wouldn't be out of character. Also the actress is a singer that would be cool to use in the show. And it matches the theory about Robin knowing her favorite song since she goes through her music collection in the bedroom scene
Even my mom, who mainly consumes heterosexual romances (not shading on that), caught on romantic vibes between these two and even said, “These two are gonna date right? You gotta be blind not to see it.”
I was like obviously it won’t happen but the forest scene when they say they’re friends and then the background soundtrack...and the blushing it seemed like something else lol, they have chemistry tho. I’d like to ask you in which scene your mom said that? Haha
Not to mention that Maya (or was it Natalia? I can't remember) said when asked about the possible "Ronance" romance, she cryptically said "Mmm, yeah. There's something there."
Unfortunately, as much as I'd like them to end up together, I don't think it's gonna happen. However it would have been a beautiful and very interesting evolution of both characters
@@givemeyourbtsmeal See that's the one thing that gives me pause on thinking it's Nancy & Steve. I legit think SOMEONE is going to have to die, and I'm guessing it's 11 or Steve. Ironically we might see the "widowed ex" end up turning gay either way 🤔Still my Spider-Sense tingles in the direction that the writers will chicken out and it was either Johnathon or Will sacrificing themselves for their "love" and letting them "be happy". I hope they don't chicken out though because as much as Steve has grown on me the last 2 seasons, a Steve for Nancy sacrifice would be epic and perfect.
I love people talking about Nancy and Robin’s relationship and how it progressing but I want to take a moment to bring up how freaking smart Robin is, I think it’s easy to forget that a little bit more this season since she’s also a lot more of a comedic character but she still is the same girl who infiltrated a Russian base. We see Robin in situations where book smarts isn’t as applicable yet she is thinking out of the box in situations, when Nancy is investigating and struggling to find anything Robin brings up that it would be unlikely to find information on a magical being when most sources were treating it like a murder case, then Robin convinces the guy in charge of the mental hospital with a different method after Nancy was struggling with the more straight forward option, and she also figures out that music helps people snap out of Vecna’s curse (you can even see her process it).
I know people like the idea of shipping them but i just want nancy to have a friend she haven't had one since season 1 Edit: holy cow how did this reached 800 likes?
well tbh it’s obvious they’re setting up nancy to either be with steve or jonathan, not to mention robin would never get in the way, she aprecietes steve so much and now has a great start with nancy. so yeah, they’ll stay as friends, but this ship is cute so nothing wrong about it
their chemistry, the edits, and the interviews where maya and natalia get awkward and nervous when asked about nancy and robins relationship keep getting my hopes up istg but ik that it's very unlikely since they both have their own love interests/crushes but u never know the duffers might throw a curveball at us (im hoping) and have them get together
Can we as a society agree that if you took every Bi person on the planet, squeezed out all their Biness, then took all that pure Bi energy and formed it into a person it would be Nancy Wheeler?
She puts the "Bi" in Bad Bitch. If she really did swing that way, you just know she'd get pussy. Natalia Dyer just has chemistry with every actors, I guess lmaooo
Has anyone noticed that her character changed in season 4? I feel like she was dumbed down in a way and rants a lot unlike her season 3 character where she was eccentric and intelligent. I dont hate but I dont exactly like it either. Robin season 4 personality was changed in a way to force comedy where she asks a lot of obvious questions and complains a lot while season 3 robin had a sarcastic tone and certain intelligence to her character and solves things for the group.
@@human_being7765 Not really... season 4 robin was dumbed down a lot to make her fit with nancy as a comedic duo... if u compare season 4 robin to season 3 you will notice that she asks a lot of obvious questions, rants a lot, and is overly hyper. Season 3 robin the one who translated russian seemed to be more logical and calculative which u dont see in season 4. Just search clips of robin in season 3 vs season 4 and u will notice the differences.
THANK YOU I haven’t seen anyone point that out yet, I swear it’s like she’s still drugged up from season 3 lol. She was so witty and calculated but now she’s all spacey and hyper all the sudden??
A lot of people are noticing that Robin exhibits neurodivergent traits (autism or ADHD mainly) and I think it’s most likely intentional. She behaved in s3 in a way a lot of neurodivergent people do around people they don’t know, masking their symptoms and coming if as pretty sarcastic and reserved (personal experience lol) so in this season it seems like she’s unmasking a lot and acting more herself. That being said I think they turned up her dorkyness too much and kinda erased the eccentricity of her. She still is crazy smart in S4 but I wish she was a little less comedic relief
@@AntiStraightMaleSociety why? She can deny Robin without being homophobic. Also this is the internet if you make Nancy homophobic the internet would start hating Nancy, which nobody wants.
If Jonathan and Nancy break up in Volume 2, at least I have this ship! Bc I love it way better than with Jonathan and Nancy :3 Like, I swear, they’re too adorable together 🥺😩✋
@@genuinelygenuine there ship doesn’t work Nancy isn’t even fully Robyn’s friend yet she still seems reserved and not into talking to her so not much communication and Nancy is straight while Robyn like is obsessed with someone else
@@jasonturner6041 and no, the creators didn’t say nancy is purely straight, or that robin could only view her as a friend. and even if they did, *which they didnt*, it’s a head cannon. doesn’t have to be canon for someone to like the pairing
0:03 “Oh my god! You have a Tom Cruise poster! u have a Tom Cruise poster.” 😏 “Holy shit! There’s a little ballerina in here.” Lip bite w/ little laugh
I thought because of the tension between Jonathan and Nancy, Nancy would end up with Robin. But then they showed chemistry between Steve and Nancy again. So it's probably gonna be Nancy and Steve, Robin and Vickie, Jonathan and weed
This is a lot of reading so… just warning you ⚠️ I honestly love the writing of Nancy and Robin’s friendship. Robin is talkative, sarcastic, and fun but she’s also insanely smart and creative. Nancy is sophisticated and quiet and very smart but also a badass and Robin is too. They’re also super sweet and brave. You can see that Robin understands that her talkative and sarcastic nature can be annoying and Nancy is visibly annoyed by it but they start to get along, as we see in the later episodes. I feel like depending by the person you are, the impression Robin made on Nancy can be seen as annoying and that’s shown by Nancy’s reaction to everything Robin does and says. After their first encounter, they get closer and become friends and I feel like there’s a lot of potential for more growth in their friendship in the 5th season and I hope to see it. Robin is great character and a wonderful friend to have and Nancy learns that later on. I feel like I’m repeating myself but it’s because there is so much genius in their dynamic. They’re the perfect duo that we didn’t know we needed. They’re so different but alike and it has a similar concept as Robin and Steve, Eddie and Dustin, and Joyce and Hopper but I feel like there’s is the best because they’re the most different out of all those duos. And they mix very well. But just my opinion. I feel like the Duffer brothers won’t make them date because they’re obviously going for Steve and Nancy and Robin and Vicky. I think they’re both great couples and Steve deserves a great partner and Nancy and Steve are cute together but Robin and Vicky seem too alike. They’re of course cute but I feel like Robin and Nancy are more iconic and just better but we haven’t really learned about Vicky very much but…. I don’t know. I’m sort of cut in half about it relationship wise but either way Nancy and Robin= perfect duo. I hope they get closer in the 5th season and I will kill the Duffer brothers if they kill either of them.❤️ Thank you for coming to my Ted-talk. By the way, if you read this whole thing.. good job 👏
If I'm being honest Ronance (a.k.a robin and nancy) won't happen, just like you said they're shooting for Steve and Nancy and Robin & Vicky, this whole ship and dynamic is cute and all but it really won't happen, way too far fetched to even happen. Personally I feel like season 5, Robin is going to kick the bucket or either Jonathan and Stevie boi. Just a guess since there's the whole Nancy love triangle, I really don't like the whole Steve and Nancy kinda weird since it kinda seems like a "ex becomes finally worthy of main girl yay" which sucks and when I watched the whole season 4 hell ronance is not even possible, Nancy is as straight as a board.
@@alayna.exe. that’s not how it works, you know that right? people can ship different characters and there’s nothing you can do about it. just let people on the internet ship fictional characters together. that’s not a bad thing. stop judging people and get a life. honestly.
I think one reason Nancy started to bond with robin was because Nancy had to deal with sexism in her old job and robin standing up to that guy abt it rlly made Nancy second look at robin
I think that’s a really good point. I also think she didn’t realize quite how SMART Robin is. She may have mistook her rambling and anxiety and being all over the place to mean she wasn’t very smart, because she doesn’t ever seem to be focused. But then as time went on, Nancy saw more and more of how insanely smart and driven Robin is, and Robin saw more of Nancy’s looser, rule-breaking badass side. That made them bond very quickly and it made them appreciate each other a lot more. I think Nancy also started to find robin’s rambling to be endearing instead of annoying, and started to understand it was an anxious thing, and not just Robin constantly needing to hear her own voice or whatever else she would have assumed.
5:32 the look, bro. At first I didn't take this ship so seriously, I thought it was just a momentary gay craze. But dude, look at them and tell me you don't want it.
We might be delusional but lol I sense tension in that scene and Nancy turning her head to Robin so quick lmao 🤣 •Fact: The actors Maya, Natalia, Charlie And Joe sen each other memes about this ship tho.
bro i think the writers may have inadvertently given robin aspergers🤯 when her and nancy are about to go into the archives she says she doesn't have a filter or understand social cues , that could be Aspergers. which would also line up with the time line when people didnt really know or understand it that well either. or it could just be part of her personality lol
I'd be surprised if it wasn't fully intentional on the writer's part, just that the character is undiagnosed because people were rarely diagnosed at that point in time.
I do find it kinda funny that in season 3 Robin was a big reason why they figured out about the Russin base bc she cracked a lot of those codes. She is both smart and dumb. It seems she sometimes gets distracted or hyper focuses on things which is sometimes focusing on solving a mystery or focusing on the random things in Nancy’s room
