At least in BF4 they can actually be helpful at not getting spotted. Although notably in Hardline, with custom skins, on Hardcore, I literally merged into a bush and was left sniping for a solid 10 minutes and over 30 kills simply because I wasn't visible. And with the same camo on another map, an enemy literally bumped into me and didn't notice. I'm not sure if it was the camo or he was just blind though.
Two reasons why these are the best skins. 1. You can earn them. And be proud. 2. They look better than most of the other skins. Gun metal and engraved. They are nice and elegant without being overly done like some of the other weapon skins. So many of the skins in this game are just tacky. I hate solid gold or silver weapons.
Ruben ten Berge Why so salty? It's an opinion. And I do use mostly default. A, because the battlepack system is shit and when I actually get one it's usually a repeat. B, because camos like the ones in the video look much more believable and are in better taste to the setting and reality of the game.
Invective Yea, the silver ones aren't too bad. I have the silver BAR... It's just too flashy for me. I would rather have a blued steel BAR with cool engravings like some of the guns above. It would make far more sense and match the character of the weapon far better. All these kids wanting their gold guns. A real gun enthusiast knows what color a gun looks best in.
What? If the video gets more views of course it will get more money. The length doesn't matter, 10 minutes is just a nice amount of time for someone to put into a video. Watch the video by thegamerfrommars.
Just so you all know, for the Through Mud and Blood missions, for the sneaking section, if you get the red icon on one of the soldiers but kill him before he can alert the others it will still count in the end as "sneaking through them all" as I just finished it that way. So if you know that no other guards are around, it's fairly easy to just dash up to a singled out soldier and Melee him for a quick kill. Even if he becomes "alerted" you will still be good so long as all the other soldiers don't go hostile.
As an Italian, it triggered me when he said "Say-Regotty", it is pronounced "Chay-Regotti" Italian C's are hard, they make a "CH" sound. I.e. Soricelli, is So-re-chell-e" But other than that, I love the vid!
He Gettin That Tho I think he is secretly calling the campaign plain. i mean if I had 1 million + subs I would make sure my commentaries didn't have mistakes
Kill the first set of 3 or 4 fighters coming staight at you, then to the left slightly as the second blimp comes in to view is a set of 3 bombers, after that mop up any fighters still buzzing round and good luck.
There are already tutorials on RU-vid for it. The planes come in a specific order, you just have to practice to get them in this order. It took me 30 tries I think but it worked out in the end
Hunter Gamer Drone somebody should make a walk through and btw do you have to do the stealth part and the plane part in 1 play through or can you just do 1 part at a time
Never said it wasn't his career. It's just stupid to purposely add a fucking pointless minute long intro just to get more money. He is earning more money by adding a minute of stuff that has nothing to do with the video
I really like the Desert Dweller skin. Not only the worn look, I like the history of Lawrence from Arabia and the beduins and he is one of my personal heros. Really enjoyed unlocking that skin and using it
Good fucking luck with the AA one for the Revolver, that mission is a piece of shit! everytime i try to do it, i just get 9 and the 30 seconds are over.
For sneaking to No Man's Land you only need to take out about 4-5 enemies. Stick to the outsides as much as possible, there will be a few stragglers down the right of the map that are easy pickings, and only two enemies who you absolutely can't sneak past, guarding the entrance to the trenches. After that, just avoid the trenches and stick to the open, muddy spaces between the spotlight mountings.
For the last stealth mission just wait for the people in the first truck to get out and miss your first shot at the sniper and quickly kill him. This makes every guard come over to that location, giving you an advantage to put the dynamite under the cars without anybody there
Man, battlefield 1 was such a great game, it’s so weird that almost instantly after this game finished its life span they went full EA on battlefront 2 and BF5, like there was literally no transition
For anyone who's having trouble with equipping the skins, just play a war story from start to finish and do the same for the black Bess skin but you need to be lvl.1 tanker for that one
Hi, yes I'm having trouble equipping the black bess skin in multiplayer, so I guess from what you're saying I have to re-play the campaign and hopefully I can then equip the skin in multiplayer. Yes I know its literally 6 years later but I've only just finished all the achievements for the campaign after all these years.
Actually most critics have praised it's representation of the war and the voice acting is the best its ever been. The flying campaign is also reminiscent of Ace Combat and the others are quite alot like the old Medal of Honor games, except when you're playing as that iron man Italian guy.
Woopdy-doo, critics are praising it. They can praise it all they want, it's still not a memorable campaign at all. Sure, it's far better than the other BF campaigns, but that didn't take much.
Darksource I enjoyed my first play through well enough. But i didn't like the amount of stealth missions, it's a military shooter after all. Sure, you had the option of going in rambo style, but when even the challenges require you to be stealthy it's pretty clear what the developers had in mind when they designed the missions.
I read somewhere that if you play any of the war stories from start to finish again you'll get to use your weapon skins. It's a bug, I do believe. Haven't tested it though, still got "The Runner" to finish.
I did it after 72 hours and 46 mins I finally found all the manuals and codex challenges the black bess skin is mine a hard earned victory no to get some sleep
To be honest, I'm not really interested in the skins for this game. In my opinion, they seem to be very authentic (Good job, DICE), but seem to be very subtle and there's nothing that really.. "pazzazes" me
Interesting take on the Bedouin codex challenge... I found that if you kill the first guy you see and then sneak around to the tent on the left side, it triggers a sandstorm to begin and make it very easy to pick off all the guards with the shell casing lure which I might add is a bit ridiculous to hear hitting the sand like 20ft away in the middle of a raging sandstorm. Regardless, I used it to lead them all away and then knife them. Eventually I ended up luring most to the same spot which is hilarious since they never seemed to notice the large pile of bodies right in front of them.
Kiki Gaming Same with me, when I checked back on the campaigns, it says I unlocked the codex entries but when I check my codex libraries they aren't there
+LinkFrostGaming i have 53 codexs unlocked from campaign but only 65 in total shown on companion, some r from multiplayer and some are from the campaign.
Joshua Faller When you die, wait for a tank to spawn in, go to landship, press the customize button, (what you would use to customize your class loadout) appearance, the select "Black Bess."
i fixed the problem sign out and back in to ea servers and re complete final mission to refresh; it was because i completed final codex while ea servers were down
I've got an impression LevelCap still didn't find out you can switch to full auto on this thing. This is literally one of the highest DPS weapons in the game on close to medium ranges, the 10 round mag is never a problem with such a powerful sidearms in this game, even in TDM modes.
My main class is the medic and I'm actually one class rank away from level 10 and I've been using the Cel Regotti because I feel it's powerful and accurate.. Idk how people don't like it. Plus the reload animation is pretty cool
None of these skins other than the one for the c96 were hard to get, they just took some time. It was actually really rewarding to do it, and I'm glad I did. Just pace yourself. On the easier stories, do more. on the harder do less and pace yourself. Also, look up the ign guides for codex entries and watch individual videos for the challenges.
Played the campaign regular on hard, heard about the skins and literally ran through it on easy. If you are too lazy to do this even on easy you don´t deserve them :D
omg thx dude! I tried to get all of them but the guides on the internet were not that detailed. But now I know how to get them all! Thx for the awesome tutorial ^^
EllisD yea I do the same anyways I've gotten every single skin atleast 2 times except for the legendary, I've gotten the doughboy kept it and the Mexican scrapped it, I have 1 part for each knife so far.
all around gamer I don't run around using them but I use them occasionally, I have 70 kills with my bolo knife already lol. I want the metal one I forget the name, not the wood one.
if you didnt know if you alert only one guard but kill him right after, and it doesnt alert the rest of the camp then you can still continue being stealthy you have to alert everyone for it to nit count towards the stealth codexes and btw lvlcap if you were having trouble with the no mans land mission its doesnt say you have to clear the camp so you could literally run above the trenches without killing all the enemies
My favorite skin is the one on the C96 because it reminds me of Han Solo's blaster back when I watched Star Wars on those boring rainy days when my friends were busy.
Graphic really easy to say stuff like that when your parents are covering everything for you. If they aren't then what the fuck, are you afraid of money or something?
Detective John Kimble Sounds like someone is a bit jealous. The video didn't feel like it was forced to be over 10 minutes, I didn't get bored watching it. That is why it's acceptable in my opinion. It's totally fine by me if he wants to earn a little more, as long as the whole video is entertaining and doesn't feel forced...
smokeweedeverydayx42 yes all of the codex done and all the field manuals found. Thing is I can equip it in the app and companion online but it doesn't show up in the game menu. It's the same with the Russian 1895 skin that u unlock in the Lawrence missions.
War stories 6/6, codex 53/53, field manuals 66/66 and yet I'm still missing the Russian 1895 sniper camo, the M1909 camo, and the black Bess Landship camo
HELP! I did the two challenges in 'friends in high places' and pressed equip skin on the companion app. But in bf1 there is no sign of the skin at all, I can only modify magnification on the auto revolver. Have I done something wrong?
Guilhudo nope, didn't work for me. Finished the Lawrence war story and they don't show up. Not the auto revolver skin or the Russian 1895 skin. God dammit DICE.
Christofer Bajen Did you complete every challenge? Or just the two shown in the video, cause the two he showed are just the two he had trouble with, not all the challenges you needed to complete.
I sat down at 6 yesterday afternoon and began this trek to get all the campaign skins. After only a few hour breaks I finished at 5:30 this morning. Woo. Off to work.
Please Help! I got the campaign skin "Straight Flush" and tried to equip it on my Xbox one but it doesn't say the option to choose the skin only the magnification please help!
Merrybear55 I really doubt that, boosts were easy to get in bf4, not sure why they would lower the drop rate like this, also, no one ever mentioned getting one from packs.
Knight of Astora Dice has confirmed multiple times that there are exp-boosts to be found in the battlepacks. However, I believe they're even rarer than the puzzle pieces.
“It’s very rare to see the black bess skin in multiplayer.” Mate I never even knew this existed until I was looking on how to customise the behemoths. But now that I got it, it’s was definitely worth
I knew it. When a game adds stealth and tells you that you have "so many options to complete an objective" but the slow and boring option gives you rewards. They should also have rewards for being the complete opposite of stealth. "Kill and blow up everything".
