Honestly, this is among the cooler versions of Soundwave in my opinion: A) He's appropriately badarse. Even Optimus couldn't beat him on his own and they had to basically 5v1 him to finally take him down. Him using literal soundwaves as his *main* weapon, finally, is also nice. B) The design is really cool and I like that he has most if not all his minicons again like he did in G1. His vehicle form, like the one in Prime, is also very appropriate C) This version actually explores on whether Soundwave is loyal to Megatron or the Decepticon cause
It doesn't make sense to me that why an aircraft needs cassette tapes. The OG cassette player form might be dumb but if you're gonna scrap that, you also have to scrap his minicons as well or it wouldn't make sense.
@@theotv5522prime did a nice compromise, making laserbeak a drone of his to he used for espionage. Would be cool if something similar was done. Still this is one of the most dope Soundwave we got so far
In Transformers Prime, he was the most loyal to Megatron, rather than the Decepticon cause, which you can see when Airachnid tried to overthrow Megatron in his absence he just beat the shit out of her.
This a great design for Soundwave, making his design a combination of G1 & prime but i still feel like something is off so i do prefer the prime design a bit more.
His chest could be black to indicate the transparent part of his cassette deck tape ejector. The blue with the yellow outline sort of threw me off as I know that the design is trying to stimulate the cassette deck part on his chest.
@@AfterthymeGaming SOUNDWAVE: I got it I'll make them hear Ducktails ahaahahahahahahaha I need better laughing sound (crowed laugh clip) (Also is it weird that bumblebee gets the talk with a radio but SOUNDWAVE doesn't?)
@@genesismultiverse4896 Soundwave is too cool to talk with a radio or mumble nonsense. Which is why he's silent in TFP despite actual can talk. But I do prefer him talking just to hear that sweet autotune in his voice. But would be interesting to hear him use recordings of his own conversations with other Decepticons or banters with Autobots to speak. Unless Soundwave is into human culture, I don't mind him using the radio to speak. He'd probably use radio talk roasts a lot, though.
If soundwave got about 4 minutes of screen time, what about the scenes from the episode Hashtag oops? But other than that great to see soundwave compiled into one video
For the whole series, I did not understand one thing: Why did Soundwave go against Megatron? In all versions, Soundwave was the most loyal Decepticon and was ready to follow Megatron in any of his actions. In the Cyber Universe, Soundwave sided with the Autobots and helped them finish off the Quintessons. In Prime, Soundwave brutally suppressed all attempts to harm Megatron, and later even tried to regain the leadership. But here he suddenly became Megatron's opponent. Okay Starscream, he was constantly trying to mess with Megs. But Soundwave.... This is some kind of nonsense. Or as Shockwave would say: "It contradicts logic."
@@SkipperSuffers He didтnot betray them, but made it clear that it was time to end this senseless war, otherwise it would only get worse. It's just that the Decepticons didn't understand his message.
@@Glad98Ratchet in prime said that is soundwave not even a cybertronian so i think he wouldn’t be something other than decepticon + megs turn to be an autobot that’s made our soundwave really angry but in the end i can’t accept the idea of soundwave turning against megs cause thats starscreams job
It honestly explores his loyalty to the decepticon cause even tho he is really loyal to megs he is also loyal to the cause and followed it to a tea really makes you wonder if he was the truly loyal to the deception cause or megs
While Earthspark is pretty shit with the whole pronouns thing, they really gave us really good versions of Decepticons. Shockwave, Soundwave, Starscream. All amazing
