@@lesshome5856 that's not a how shields work. They're incredibly complex and those rating are weird af. I have 720 hours on the game so I understand them
I just want to say that your guides have been such a huge help!! Found my last 2 stalnoxes for Kilton's medal because of you :). Thank you and hope you continue posting great botw stuff!
Thank you so much! I was missing #11 in your list. Turns out I had marked it, but I forgot to defeat it. Now I can get that medal of r̶o̶c̶k̶-̶m̶a̶n̶ ̶g̶e̶n̶o̶c̶i̶d̶e̶ honor!
Just used a paper guide and was 39/40, dreading another slog through the whole game I found this video, the very first talus you shown, was the one I was missing. I'm 39/40 on Hinox too so your vid is coming up next in my queue and here's hoping I get as lucky with my missing one being your first 😹
Now this is the type of instructional I’m looking for! Why do most youtubers feel they need to talk about other crap when viewers are just here to get the info?
I adore Talus fights. The theme is epic, the fight itself is epic especially when you have to climb the Talus and damage the stone at the top, I love finding these because it's always a pleasant surprise, and the loot you get is always amazing.
Haha, you made fighting a Talus look like the best thing in the whole game... I also love these fights, I mean, just listen to the music. There should be a Talus fan club.
Yeah this really helped me out I wanted to get that badge so bad !thank you so much for this video!!!!! Not to mention all the loot that we got on the way!!!!😋
@@iceboxcv yes same thing happened to me. I transported to the shrine to get to the talus and I was attacked by one you know the one that you're supposed to defeat for that goron. So I just assumed Sammii put the marker in the wrong place. Later on I went to that marker and he was there.
Ty so much! Much better than the map guide I was using. My last Talus was Garonbi Lake North! The time stamps and the separation by type helped my process of elimination so much! I figured it out it was a frost or Igneo. I had 5 markers in Eldin but only 4 kills. Gg.
Thank you so much :D I’m replaying BoTW, and I’m farming rupees to get my house back. This helped me get most of the rupees from selling the stone talus ores
Just so you guys know if your still trying to get an 100% is that it doesn’t have to be bomb arrows. It could be any kind of arrow even regular arrows for the Stone, Rare and the luminous ones.
I was struggling with the Stone Talus with the weak point on its lower back (that can't be reached when you're on top of it). Seems like Bomb Arrows are the only way to hit that particular one and I was able to beat it! Thanks for your brilliant strats!
The first time I played the game I ran into the one outside the resurrection temple first thing. Needless to say that was when I found out you can climb really well in the game
Playing Master mode and trying to find rubies to upgrade armor right now, and I can't find Rubies any where. I'm hoping that I can farm them off of stone talus' but still nada. They are so rare for me in this playthrough, even in the Eldin region. Even the Silver Bokoblins and moblins rarely drop them. I fought at least 20 silver Bokoblins and 2 rubies is all I could scrounge up. I've got a healthy bounty of Sapphires and Topaz though, lol. all I need is ten, lol, why does this always happen in games, the item that you need the most is rarely available when you're actively searching for it, but when you don't need it, it's all you can find, I.E. Sapphires, lol.
I haven't played master mode very much but in the normal quest they drop like crazy from talus's and silver bokoblins. If you can get a tireless frog and go kill some lynels. You can mix 4 lynel guts with 1 tireless frog cook it up and you will get I think it was something like 2.3k rupees for each dish if you sell it to a shop.
@@kenlamella8996 it was the ruby circlet at the jewelry store in the Gerudo base. If you wear it it'll keep you warm in deep cold, and it can be upgraded by the great fairy for higher defense.
I like just started bowt a few days ago and i have defeated 1 divine beast! This is totally gonna help me! Good ore farming guide :) Are explosive arrows the best for a talus?
Hey just a question, I’m not saying the guide is wrong, I used it in my normal mode play through and loved it. I’m using the guide again for my master mode play through. Currently at the luminous stone talus portion of the video, and I’m getting rare stone taluses in every location I go. Is that a master mode mechanic that I just might not be aware about? Thanks to anyone who lets me know :)
In master mode, all enemies are a tier higher. This would include most of the taluses and hinoxes (with the exception of a few that remain on the lowest tier for certain quests); so all of the normal taluses would be luminous, and all of the luminous ones would be rare. The rare ones stay the same though, because that’s the highest tier. Hope this helped ;)
Ran into the Gisa Crater Stone Talus by accident, worst time when you know a Blood Moon is coming due to having delayed it with the shrine trick. What made it bad was that it would not go away while I tried to get the nearby Korok. Ugh!
Things to do to kill a talus: 1:break the talus arms with bombs (not bomb arrows) 2:when on the ground use any type of arrow and shoot the ore or get on the talus and hit its ore with a strong weapon.
Not sure if it's an update they did but my bomb arrows do not do the same amount of damage yours does. I have the exact some clothing/set up on as well. Strange.... thanks for the vid though, greatly appreciated.
I have started back on my mega overworld bosses guide. I am recording every boss in the first playthrough first then in Master Mode all Moldugas both DLC2 bosses which I already have the DLC2 bosses recorded. I will be recording obtaining the medals for the bosses as well. It is not done yet though it will take awhile to finish.
Well I got through all those. Not nearly as clinically as you, though I was getting quite adept towards the end. Thanks very much for this. Very enjoyable. Just one small thing Sammi if ever you do anything like this again. When you're showing maps, can you linger just a tad longer on the last map (close-up), maybe a second longer. It wasn't quite enough to register the location and RU-vid doesn't have a convenient replay i.e. you have to use the time-line and that usually takes you several seconds back. Otherwise great! Thanks so much.
I’m trying to complete the game 100% and I’ve found all 120 shrines, I’ve done all the side quests (except the master trial, that shit is hard af), I’ve killed all the moldugas, all the hinoxes and now I’m trying to kill all the stone taluses... I also have to find all the korok seeds. This is so hard but anyway I love this game.
I used your video to find them all, thx, missed only 20 of them on my own (ugh). One thing, for future video's, go slower on showing where you are on the map and pay more attention to the surroundings cause for some people, like me, are horrible at navigating, even though the locations are shown in this video. Had to rewind lots of time. Anyway, thanks for the work:) Next time beat any Talus using Urbosa's furie, way easier
