fantastic interview thanks so much Lewis! some of my notes Addiction Trigger behavior and reward or result Step one what are the bad habits step 2 what are the rewards I’m getting from this Be curious when I’m craving instead of giving in, observe and be curious Bigger better offer replacing the habit curiosity connection or kindness Defintion of addiction is continued use despite adverse consequences

I found this interesting I study Romantic NPD ( Narcissis personally disorder) I help people every day from the people that get randomly unexpectedly abandoned when the Romantic Narcissist is finished with the ‘chase’ part of a relationship. Maybe Mindfulness Meditation could help the Person with chronic NPD? Narcissist are consumed with having their Ego fed.

Worrying about the future, totally right what started my smoking cigarettes addiction, that is what i tell people around me, if i stop worrying about the future, I can stop smoking. I stopped 2 or 3 times, my starting idea was i dont care about tomorrow, I will live day by day.

Addition to thinking… like « being too much « in your head » rather than balancing your life by being more in your body, « doing » .yes, curiosity will drive that. But there is also overthinking when trying to figure out the best way to do something or to avoid making a mistake.
