Thanks a lot Demid Chess! I still have it! The neighbors were home at the time of recording this video so I couldn’t record on the double bass set! I’m still going to do more drum covers on the big set soon! As well as covers on this set!
I still have it! I couldn’t play on the big set because neighbors were home at the time of recording this video! That’s why I have a second set to play on in case the neighbors are home again! I’m still going to do drum covers on the big set!
@DicSlash They didn’t stop me. When they’re home, I choose not to play for the day so that way they won’t complain in the future. I play at a certain time of the day on the big set when most of the the neighbors are away. So far, they haven’t said anything about the noise when I do play. haha!
What drum kit brand is it you using and what drum rack? I’m thinking of buying pearl export exx 6 piece and a rack to it so I can have a drum set up like you have in this video
In my opinion, just playing along with your favorite songs that has plenty of double bass playing. Some songs with slow to moderate double bass playing to build up endurance and finding the sweet spot on what ever settings you have on your pedals, and then some songs with faster double bass playing like this one to build up speed! I’ve been doing that ever since I started playing and so far, it helped me! Another way I do to warm up and build endurance is to have a metronome and set it around 80bpm as a start. I play single stroke kicks so I would play that on each leg for about four to eight measures. Once the legs gets warmed up, and after time, practice and patience, then I increase the bpm and then once again play single stroke kicks on each leg for about four to eight measures. Once the legs get comfortable at that point, then I play longer measures on each leg.
I still have it. This is my second drum set. i use this one for band practice and and for when I can't play on the double bass set when the neighbors are home. I plan do do drum covers with this set with songs that doesn't necessarily need a double bass set.
