How would you recommend one studies the 300 page document? How many pages did you do a day? Also, how long did you prep for the MCAT? I just started and my exam is 12weeks away and I’m hoping that’s enough time.
I would say start by skimming it the first time and making a note of the concepts that you didn't know and start making flashcards. Then start doing UWorld practice questions and every time a topic comes up that you didn't know go back to the doc and review. Keep doing this until you are scoring where you want to in UWorld and practice exams. I studied for about 3 months as well! I definitely think as long as you dedicating yourself as much as you can to the MCAT in that time, 12 weeks should be enough. But definitely see how you do on the practice exams!
do you think i could replace the UWorld practice questions with the Khan Academy Practice questions? I already dropped quite a heavy bag on a MCAT course (WHICH I NEEDED since last year i clearly saw i lacked the motivation to self-study as i crammed for the WHOLE mcat two weeks prior to the actual test) ?? for background, even with no practice or prep for that MCAT i hit about a 500, so do you think khan academy practice qs are a better opt ??
I use the white board to learn and memorize concepts! i would re-write them and connect dots and add info until i felt comfortable with a concept. And I never used physical flashcards but for things like amino acids i used anki!
