chompet123 it’s not even a yellow brick road, it has a closer meaning to the poem she put out about cracking her bones on the sidewalk she once coloured with childhood chalk or whatever. It’s not even yellow so I highly doubt it. And I can think of many MANY more lyricists who are way better than she is. Most of her “subliminal messages” (which is the wrong phrase for this context) are often about how no one likes her because there’s a large amount of people who don’t. She is honestly too caught up in the “I’m hated so I’m going to accept that and work through it,” No you’re hated because of your personality. The only thing I see tying into her “reputation era” (she’s 29, she doesn’t have eras) is the snake and the way she leaves the room screaming about how she is calm (which is similar to blank space) Either way, the song is a bit self obsessed and I’m not really here for itz
