I just got my IGCSE results, and got a 5. I spent 11 weeks only studying for it, I didn’t do a single paper, I only watched your videos and did your questions. I already have my American degree but needed this for my masters in England. You are the reason I passed. Thank you SO much.
I got my gcses soon and this video helped me so much on the mocks I was og 2 most of the years but the mocks I got a 4! Honestly anyone failing maths should just listen to your videos they're very helpful.

easier way for trapezium for those who dont know. Cut the side length from left put it on the right which makes a rectangle :) assuming you know how to do area of a rectangle.
I always remember a song for area of a trapezium: Half the some of the parallel sides times the width between them that is how you calculate the area of a trapezium!
another question - solving for x when x is an index. Has this been covered in any videos? I know there is a way to do this with logarithms, but as far as I know this also was not in the syllabus? please advise on the best course of action, since I’ve been asked this a couple of times as well😁
Unfortunately in order to solve exponential equations you do have to use logarithms, the exception is if you are using laws of indices and have something like 3^x=9^2x+5 for example where you can create equal base numbers and equate the exponents to form a linear equation. Using logarithms though to solve something like 8^x=15 is in the A-Level curriculum! Hope this helps? Also, do you have any links as to where you have seen an exponential equation? 🙏🏽
Absolutely no idea! We make our own papers for the mocks so I couldn’t even hazard a guess! But whichever paper it is I would try to avoid it, you want to get a true reflection of where you are at so you know exactly what to work on 😁
Hi, please could you make a video explaining matrice/ matrixes? They were not in the CIE syllabus, yet I am finding them in past papers and it is stressing me out since i am writing my exam on Monday! @the GCSE Maths Tutor
My pleasure! Hopefully you continue to find the channel useful, have you explored the playlists and figured out how to use the channel effectively yet? 😁
It would either be given or you would have to use Pythagoras or maybe even trigonometry such as this ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-x3Cd8HJCvII.html in order to find it 😁🙏🏼
Will ones like, surface area of a sphere, surface area of a cone, volume of a cone etc. be given in the exam? Or do I have to memorize them? I'm doing foundation btw. tia :)
😂😂😂😂😅😅😂😅😂i'm gonna take gsce this also i actually had studied up to grade 4 back in a day when i was African when i come uk they put in gsce now me and you in the same boat bro however keep practice and here is lots of video on RU-vid u can practice, good luck for u and myself ❤❤❤❤❤❤
