Lindsey was leading the episode and they eventually were talking about psychiatric holds and weed and drugs and she asked about how they lost their virginities and 100% “”Ned and cookie said it was awkward but “one person it wouldn’t be awkward for was loomer” or something like that and Linsey said something like “hell no he was totally awkward the first time we…” and cookie cut in “wait Lindsey what!” And she started stumbling and Ned said something looking bummed and then they just moved on. if I’m wrong timestamp it. I’m trying to find the clip myself. I sent it to my girl for other reasons I just gotta go through the messages.

I think they'd be great together but what makes me think they'll just stay friends besides it being possible they wouldn't want to risk losing this version of their close friendship, is Devon saying he wanted to be a father one day, and Lindsey feels she doesn't want her own so unless one of them decides they don't feel that way anymore, I don't think they'd get romantically involved but who knows, I'm not them. Lol Their friendship is adorable though

I really enjoy this podcast. Each episode is filled with a lot of relatable big feelings and embarrassing moments from adolescence. When I was a 6th grader, I had experienced being especially tired after lunch and having trouble transitioning to the next class. I would have the itis and couldn't keep my eyes open. I also remember playing a bit too rough and accidentally stabbing my crush in the thumb with a pencil. He didn't snitch on me lol. I still thank him to this day.

To be honest, I kinda prefer the eps where it's just the three of them because that's where they seem the most comfortable. I mean the guests have all been top tier. Seriously. I remember thinking we were SO clever in middle school because we would pass each other notebooks back and forth for notes and then learning that like, kids everywhere did that 😂 we were also still dumb enough to write lists of who we had crushes on in the back of the notebook like no one would show that to anyone. I just came to say that as a Ned's fan at 9 years old, to a 24 year old fan of the podcast, never apologize for being vulnerable and honest with us. Just because you were on a show as children doesn't mean youre not allowed to grow up, experience things, and reflect on those experiences. I'm aromantic and I totally relate to Lindsay. I used to believe I could I experience romantic feelings, but it was really me wanting some fulfillment instead of actually experiencing romantic feelings. Now that I am older, I have come to realize that I actually don't desire romance in any way. I might experience levels of sexual desire (to a smaller extent) but the need for romantic love is nonexistent.

As for the rewatch -- NOTES Ned got caught from passing a note by Sweeney all thanks to Bitsy and now, Ned gotta come up with a report. (What a jerk moment but we all know how it ended on that note.) Cook played Mop Bucket Chicken with Loomer and is late to Coach Dirga class. And now, Cook gotta find a way to get a note from the teacher about why he was late. (Side note: Mop Bucket Chicken was amazing back in the day. Also, do not try this stunt about "Le Forgé" ever, kids.) And last but not least, Moze getting love notes in calligraphy is the sweetest thing ever. I wonder who Moze thought about the most? 🤔🤔

The passing notes thing… me and my friends had a notebook we would pass back and forth and write in it but me and my other friend didn’t have a notebook so we were passing notes in class and got caught so the teacher read it out loud to the class so the next week we created our own language hahaha like each letter in the alphabet had a special character

I have one note story, but it doesn't involve me. I never wrote notes in school. One day in my physical science class my freshman yr, a classmate was writing a note. The teacher caught her writing it. She tells him "I'm taking notes." He responds "No. You're writing a note." The class then bursted out in laughter.

Long story, apologize for the TLDR. I'm about yalls age; loved Neds growing up. I was a huge romantic kid growing up. Notes, flowers, poems, all that. But it would rarely get reciprocated, and I'd get rejected A LOT (for good reason, I was a bit of a weird kid.) Flash forward, I've been married for about 5 months now. And let me tell you, all these years later, I STILL catch myself over editing notes and second guessing romantic gestures to my wife (the one person I shouldn't be hesitant to do so) because of the rejection i experienced as a kid. It's crazy. It's silly honestly.
