The cream version Becca highlighter in 'Champagne Pop' is soooo easy to apply (I use my finger which 'warms up' the product and makes it so easy to blend), a gorgeous and universally flattering shade (I've used it when I'm fair in winter and tanned in summer), and comes in a round compact with mirror which fits in the tiniest of clutches; perfect for carrying around or travelling! Liquid lipstick wise, I love the Tarte liquid lipsticks. The liquid lipsticks have a faint rosemary scent, cooling sensation, and are basically bulletproof - fave shades are "Bae" (a true red) and "TBT" (a mauve pink). Also a fan of the NYX Matte bullet lipsticks - creamy, non-drying (much more so than Lip Lingerie), and easy to apply! x
You can fix broken shadows (highlighters/bronzer/eyeshadow/face powder) by using some rubbing alcohol and then pressing it back into shape into the pan. If you wish to, you can even press it into a smaller pan since you said the original JS pan is way too big. There are many youtube videos showing you how to do it!
I have to agree, lime crime and LA splash liquid lipstick are the best in the market in my opinion, I don't know why it's not hyped up, I honestly why most beauty guru wants to avoid association with the owner of lime crime. 😍 do more makeup tutorial xiaxue!! Or talk about skin care products nexr
hey xiaxue!! there's a european brand called "essence" that's pretty common around the world (usually with drug store brands) and their eyeliner formulas are AMAZING! for $3, they have a jumbo felt tip marker eyeliner called "i love punk" (girl is thicc like a crayola marker lol) and that doesn't come off at all, but my favourite is their gel liner which is also $3ish? doesn't budge a bit and their whole brand is soooo affordable. the price is incredible for the long wearing, waterproof formula that you'd expect from sephora! it's a tad dry, but once you get it working it's 👌🏼
Coming from a girl living in Germany, I personally avoid essence like hell. It's cheap, yes, but that's all it is. None of their eyeliners have a brush tip (gawd it was hard to find one here after travelling to Japan and falling in love with those), try out quickly, wear off even quicker and are hard to apply. Their eyeshadows are so little pigmented, the only time they look pretty is in the packaging, untouched. I really don't understand the hype about essence... try Catrice or L.O.V., these are German brands as well, and they're way better but also very affordable.
Dolly wink are the best lashes ever in my experience. The softness and not shiny and affordability. One of my favourite Lime Crime velvetines is Red Hot which is a metallic red. But I love Kat von D's everlasting lipsticks, Lolita, Lolita II, Mother and backstage bambi are my faves! (Lolita are such lovely nudes, Mother is like a mauvey pinky and backstage bambi has that hot pink I adore) I love the waterproof better than sex mascara (because I wear glasses my glasses fog up since they rest on my cheeks especially when I'm blushing and I see an attractive guy hahaha, that's why I need waterproof) but I also love the dolly wink and heroine make mascaras. The heroine make mascara remover is fantastic. Highly recommend. One of my favourite tools is the 'Eye Crie Matsuge curler' which is a heated eyelash curler from Japan. Pink and sparkly and also very effective. My fave blush is too faced's love flush in Justify my Love because it's the prettiest shade of pink as well as the cosmetic kitchens pure mineral blush in strawberry (except I hate that kind of packaging) it's a pretty more dramatic red/pink. Hope you can try these one day!
+Pivaxi Thank you for your recommendations! :) But I can't find the heated eyelash curler that you wrote about..... Is it made by Hitachi? And if so, is it the one that looks like a two-sided lash comb or the one that looks more like an ordinary eyelash curler that crimps your eyelashes? You don't live in Singapore, do you...? The Heroine Make mascara remover seems to be impossible to find over here!
Spray ur broken highlighter w/rubbing alcohol 90% & above very generously & press highlighter firmly into pan. Try using the bottom of shot-glass...thts how I've always done it
Xiaxue don't buy mink lashes because the way they kill minks is really cruel just for the fur. They don't kill them in a humane way and you can buy lashes in the quality of unicorn lashes which isn't hurting animals
SophiaIsPink unicorn lashes' mink lashes are cruelty free, the furs are brushed off minks and the minks shed naturally. Info is on their website. Please don't spread fake news about brands before checking!
I have to agree with this. There is no such thing as "cruelty-free" mink lashes. Minks by nature are extremely solitary and territorial, and will not allow people to "gently brush them". Lots of "cruelty-free mink lashes" by companies state this on their website, but show no real proof. People have been debunking this ever since mink lashes became popular. Unless someone shows me a video of a perfectly tame mink allowing someone to brush their hair, or someone collecting mink fur off the ground with a happy, healthy mink allow them to do so, then fine. I'm not blaming XX or anyone who's standing by "cruelty-free" mink lashes, but there has been no real evidence given by companies who sell mink lashes supporting their claim of cruelty-free. Companies can put whatever they want on their website, they can lie if they want to.
D T I eat meat so honestly I don't care if the hairs are picked off the ground or minks don't like being brushed. As long as they are not getting their skins ripped off them - which I believe they aren't because the skin attached is only necessary for fur coats.
Honestly, the way they are kept in the farms are just as bad as getting their skin ripped. Imagine several minks kept in a tiny, dirty cage with nowhere to even turn their bodies. In the end, this is your decision and if you wanna stick by it, nothing anyone can say is going to change your mind. I'm just adding to what OP said and what you replied *shrugs*
SophiaIsPink she doesn't give a shit obviously. HV no respect for people that inflict pain and suffering on another being just to look a tad bit prettier.
It's literally. And why not, even if the company hates each other and do not share the same core value or whatever, you as a consumer can still like their products, as it doesnt concern you
Please don't buy mink lashes because you're just supporting animal cruelty. Supporting jeffree star I can still remain silent since at least his products are cruelty free but mink lashes...honey just no. The animals don't deserve to have their fur pluck just for us to feel pretty. 😞
Actually it does make a difference to her. Years back when she heard a sweater was made out of rabbit fur she decided not to get the sweater/ get involved with the store
Pleeeease don't continue to support unnecessary cruelty :( There's just no need to kill mink for lashes, there are many cruelty free versions! Good video otherwise, I love the effort and the tiny chair
Laura Lejeune they don't kill them, minks naturally shed which is than collected. She eats meat so I'm sure she doesn't care either way. Please quit spreading false facts and keep your own views to yourself, or at least next time share them without being an ass.
