I grew up watching Sacchi's Milan, Capello's Milan and Ancelotti's Milan play and win. I've seen some of the strongest teams in history play, I've seen some of the strongest players in history play. What else could I desire as a Milan fan? Nothing, I just have to thank you for living those moments.

My eyes are tearing up whatching this, the feelings Milan gives are undescribable. The fact that Legends like Gullit, Pirlo, Beckham, Ancelotti, Ronaldinho, Dida, Inzaghi and so on (we could go on for hours like this) are not in the list makes you think that Milan was always the Very Best Football Team in History!

I liked your top 11, but it's really harsh to agree with it whe u preferred Rijkaard to Gullit and Seedorf to Pirlo. I guess it's super tough to make a top eleven, u left behind very good players like Weah, Savicevic, Albertini, Gattuso, Thiago Silva, Cafù or Nordhal.. Gullit has to be in the team. Not debatable. Seedorf (while a quality player) is not on the level of Pirlo. Costacurta is a central defender (and a truly great one) so really it should be Cafu at right back. My XI: Rossi, Maldini, Cafu, Baresi, Nesta, Rijkaard, Pirlo, Kaka, Donadoni, Gullit, Van Basten. Never saw Rivera play. Desailly is very close to making the team, as is George Weah.

I use to watch channel 4 football Italy when younger with my grandad Sunday dinner it was good times ..any way for me being a 40 something football player and fan from England and man.utd. we've seen some great players and teams in world football but for me Milan team best ever ..and for me best player van Basten two good feet good with head big strong boy .what we in England use to call a typical English striker. and the combination of ruud.gullit. and frank Ricard.and those 3.all playing for Holland and Milan. so not a lot of people would agree I suppose but as a boy van Basten was 1 for me .then one bad day for England he destroys us with a hatrick .I hoped van Basten wasn't going to play but he did .good night ..

Gunnar Nordahl should definitely be in this line up. Top goal scorer in Serie A five times which is record that still stands. 210 goals in total for Milan. Van Basten and Shevchenko is far far behind. Gunnar made his debut in Milan at the age of 28. His scoring record at 35 goals was beaten 66 years later. And they played fewer matches in those days.

The fact that dida, Cafu, gullit, pirlo, gattuso, inzaghi, stam, weah, and more didn’t make it shows how quality prime ac Milan was. I’m not even a Milan fan but I have to respect them

watching milan for this past few years feel like watch different team.I grew up watched milan with italian quartet defender plus holland trio then changed to younger gold generation (2003-onward) but still mixed with old generation and now? all milan player seems don't Milan's identity at all... just totally feel like different team then the Milan I knew before. hmmmm... hopefully they will do better this session. just read milan history in champion league, they almost have 10 champion cup... so unlucky they've lost on final back in 93,95,2005... otherwise they may have 10 now... :( Love this team so much...
