At first I didnt really like Jess, but looking back, he was the only romantic partner who believed Rory could be more and pushing her to improve in the latter half of the series

"You didn't do anything" always breaks my heart. I love Jess and I think he was one the only one of Rory's boyfriends who loved her for who she really was and wanted the best for her. He was okay with not being her boyfriend he just wanted her to be true to herself.

when no one is able to talk rory back to Yale and then Jess appears for ONE EPISODE and she realizes where she belongs + when she is facing a work crisis and he is the one who says she should write the book about her and lorelai

he annoyed me so much in the firsts seasons, he was selfish, had anger issues and was so mean to everyone, but later he started to fight for his dreams and tried to become a better person, in the revival you see a totally different person from the firsts seasons, the only character that actually had a character development honestly...

I.... have no words. This broke my heart, absolutely broke meeeeeee. "Did the twins flame bruise paint you blue?" and Jess' face illuminated with the red and blue lights from the police car as Rory looks on in disappointment.... OOF!!
