Headcanon time: All the eyebrow scar characters are SG in different universes

Musical crossovers are great, the only problem is that sometimes they don't state that they're crossovers but other characters are mentioned and they're not like major corssovers but it's like a cameo crossover or sometimes they're decently major crossovers and it's just not listed so you have to look at the characters tagged. But crossovers are so much fun. How many of you guys would read a fanfic where Evan got a SQUIP?

I don’t usually like crossover but I gotta check out the Batman and James Bond fics, I think that’s just law.

A fic I've recently been on top of reading when every new chapter releases is "Welcome to the Family" by Lynning on AO3. It's a Joker/Jason Todd fic that deals with the idea of Batman dying and Joker discovering who he wants to be now because of it, with the reluctant help of the Robins of course, and how he is still in love with his dead hero despite him also developing feelings for a certain Robin. It's a great read and I highly recommend it!

I can’t wait to watch this when I get home from school! But here’s a Harry Potter fic rec real quick: Through The Quiet Emerald Eyes. It’s a series written by alwayslily22 and Des98. It’s heavily AU. Harry’s deaf and the golden trio are all in Slytherin. Snape sort of takes Harry in instead of pushing him away. There’s Wolfstar, Slytherin redemption, it’s great. I’ve only read their Philosopher’s Stone rewrite but they’ve done their take on a few of the HP stories.

Cool, thanks. A crossover story that I read is “Amy Potter is Batgirl” by Philosophize. It’s a crossover between Harry Potter and Batman. Amy is a female version of Harry, except she grows up in Gotham with Alfred, Bruce Wayne, and Dick Grayson, and then she’s chosen to compete in the Triwizard Tournament.

Since all the fics was so long this week, I'm gonna rec one that is short. It is called 'The red suit' and is written by 'quantumvelvet'. I won't tell you much about it since it's only 1569 words, and I don't want to spoil the main plot point. But the summary reads; "Perhaps Edna was telling the truth when she said she once worked with gods - or, at least, with legends." It's short, fun and interesting. Wish there was a fanfic where the Percy Jackson Universe crossovers with Bionicle...

Since there was a vampire diaries crossover fic here, i wanted to recommend a vampire diaries time-travel fic! It isn't a crossover, but it deals heavily with the American Civil War era, since it really delves into Damon's past and how he was as a human 20-something year old having to deal with the time period and his own dysfuntional family. Its a m/m slash fic with the main pairing being Damon Salvatore and Jeremy Gilbert, told from Jeremy's perspective. This fic does need knowledge of vampire diaries and it spoils some things for the show, but it says so in the tags. I just think this fic was done so well and actually got me on board with the ship, especially considering that both Damon and Jeremy have separate canonical love interests at that point in the show, so it was really amazing how well the story and the relationship progressed. Ooh! Elsa/Gothel, now thats interesting and out of the blue. Probably not my cup of tea, but lately ive been wanting to read more age gap content, and usually i put a limit on that gap but I can put aside that for interesting characterisation

I find it interesting how the HP universe is utilized so often that a lot of the time people don't bother categorizing it as a crossover. It's basically as classic a trope as high school or coffee shop AUs. I thought I'd finally rec something, this fic deserves more attention. Its for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fandom. Specifically, the 2012 cartoon series. This fic follows the real Irma after the Kraang kidnap her and take her place, as well as the aftereffects of being a prisoner on an alien planet for several months and how she struggles after being returned home. Nobody knows that the version of her they've been interacting with wasn't the real Irma, and the real Irma doesn't know any of the things fake Irma did while she was in another universe. You get to see her dealing with the emotional fallout of the traumatic experience she had while trying to piece together what happened while she was gone. It you want more crossover fics i have one that me and a friend are writing. It's a Netflix Series Lotor x MCU Loki fic called The Space You Left posted on ao3. It starts right after Thor 1 with Lotor and generals going to Asgard so Lotor can confess to his long time friend Loki only to find he's 'dead'. There's only one chapter at the moment but we're working on the next one

Fanfic recommendations A Xena fanfic and a Once Upon a Time fanfic. So nether of these are crossovers but both shows are basically giant crossovers themselves 1 Hope Lives Words: 4,933 Xena and Gabrielle find out that Hope has survived the events of A Family Affair. A very dark fic that has descriptions of gore and mentions rape non/con. It dives into the tragedy of Hope’s existence and her anger towards Gabrielle. This fic is not for people who aren’t interested in a version of Hope who isn’t pure evil. 2 After the Kiss Words: 11,497 A sweet story about what happened next for are favourite werewolf and her true love. There is a little bit of smut and conversations about Werewolf rituals.

Now here me out: Dora the Explorer X Ghost In The Shell crossover it's called Explorer in the shell by NazoFox2501 Basically a crack fic taken seriously, and it's marvelous. A beautiful blend between Dora and the GITS manga/anime. Its sorta dark, but an intresting read (Only one chapter). I dont wanna say any more, its better read with no idea what's going on, so enjoy!

I’m usually pretty nervous to recommend fics but I found one called Burning Matches by HopelesslyLost on Ao3. It’s a beautifully written Spiderverse fanfic and it explores just how damaged Noir Parker really is, without getting too terribly depressing Hope it suits your fancy. (PS ~ Your videos are great! 😊)

So this week I bring one of my favorite crossovers, "The Equestrian Wind Mage series" by Lord Siravant. These fics are Legend of Zelda + My Little Pony crossovers. The first deals with Vaati, a villain getting tired of his villainous life, deciding to fake his death with only Princess Zelda knowing the truth but of course things go wrong because and he ends up accidentally transporting himself into the My Little Pony universe. The fics that follow deal with other villains from his universe leaking in and trying to cause trouble which of course means that Vaati has to rise up and help save his new home and later on even Hyrule. Things do get dark, so be warned. This week I'm recing Sunflowers by XpaperplaneX Summary: Is it exile? Is it a vacation? It's up to Sephiroth to find out. This story is a au where Sephiroth did something stupid as a teenager and got sent to Nibelheim for the summer. It deals with an adorable friendship between him and a young Cloud, and being treated like a child himself for the first time in his life. It's eleven chapters, ten during that summer and one epilogue set years later. I have just read the crossover that I never realised I needed. It's a chapter in a Tony Stark Relationship Bingo fic - Tony Stark/Wonder Woman from the DCEU. It has Tony meeting Diana in his twenties and them having relationship through the year through the first avengers film. I really gotta check out that MInako in Vampire Diaries story! I'venever followed the show, but Sailor Moon is my Lifeblood. though it's not a crossover (perhaps for a normal week then?) I'm really fond of Loyal Chevalier by imthepunchlord, it's a Miraculous Ladybug fic, 17 chapters and 18176 words. It's an 'Akumatized Marinette' fic, and while it's not particularly dark, it is incredibly emotional, there's a scene around the climax of the story that just straight up always makes me cry.

While in the process of looking for a different crossover fic that I absolutely love and wanted to share, I was reminded of this one as well. It's called The Way the World Ends by Darkfangz13. I mentioned them before, I'll again, the difference between series! WinterCold, Winter soldier and Captain Cold! I hope there will be an update. Bucky on the waverider meeting Cap and himself fighting Nazis and hydra. It's so well written and it makes so much sense. What I like is how they deal with the trauma of being the winter soldier. The Straw Hat crew are trying to get back home while also trying not to get noticed by the superheroes (which fails because they're also committing crimes) Which leads to the members of the Justice League are being confronted with criminals that aren't exactly evil.

Two things: 1) crossover rec - Supernatural/Criminal Minds (Gen) "Defect" by kikkimax (archiveofourown.org/works/13912425) Written before Season 3, it deals with a Dean who is Going To Hell and is then captured by the FBI, where the BAU get his case to evaluate him. I love and have reread this fic several times. It's such a great character study, and has a pretty tight plot aside from that. 2) Do you have any thoughts/ideas about crossover-adjacent AUs like the Sentinel-verse fics? Sometimes it's even obvious that the author doesn't know that the Sentinel-verse stuff came from a tv show, at all. I just find it so interesting how the FANON of a mostly obscure(nowadays) tv show still pops up surprisingly often in new fandoms.

I don't think we've ever had a Life is Strange fic recommended here, so let me leave this gem of a fic here: archiveofourown.org/works/5061229/chapters/11640514 This is a multi-chap, slow burn post-canon fic for the game, should you choose the Bay Ending. It's also, to me, a major fix-it for both Nathan and Victoria's characters and their storylines. Nathan is my favorite character of the franchise and thinking about how the game screwed him over and treated his mental issues gives me a headache, and the reason I'm so iffy on Victoria is because the game seemed to have her swing between heartless and irredeemable to someone perhaps decent underneath much too violently for me (the point where her admitting her insecurities to Max if you chose that route felt forced and unnatural). This fic, however, completely redeemed her character for me, and also builds on the world of Life is Strange and fixes so many of the dangling plot threads the first game left. It also provides, to me, the best explanation for Max's powers and why she was given them. For a post-canon fic without Chloe, her presence is still felt and towards the end, there's a heartfelt resolution for her and Max's friendship and Max's grief for her. To me, this fic is and will always be my version of canon for the entire Life is Strange universe.

I once read an untitled Red Dwarf/X-FIles crossover that was pretty good. The only quibble I really have with it is that Mulder gets a bit flanderized (i.e. gets made kinda stupid) but it mostly works. I especially like how Scully hit it off with the talking toaster. Yay, I was really looking forward to this because I love crossovers. Thanks for the great vid! :-) The Batman/007 fic sounds really interesting! Not gonna lie, my favorite crossover is still SuperWhoLock. But there are others which I also like, e.g. Supernatural and Buffy or Supernatural/Heroes/True Blood - which unfortunately is very rare and has but a handful of fics. 😂 I also love Marvel/DC crossovers. (I ship Wonder Woman and Captain America, but I'm kind of a multi-shipper when it comes to Cap). Also, I once tried to write a Star Trek/Star Wars/Babylon 5 crossover but it was too much. I didn't get there but it was much fun.
