the thirst for kylo ren in the kylux fandom is truly astounding (probably in the reylo fandom too but i have no idea what happens in that corner of the internet). there is a wonderful trend on twitter of retweeting fashion photos of semi-kinky or just plain beautiful clothes with the caption “put it on kylo”- especially after the last jedi, in which kylo’s extremely thicc tits were featured. anyway, the thirst for kylo ren is extreme. ALSO: i have seen a few comments regarding other thirsts, and let me just say that i was there for the extreme inbound of “skeleton fuckers” post-undertale and experienced the influx of sans x self-insert fanfiction abound in the months following the game’s release.

Pennywise was definitely a strange thirst to bear witness to. Though with the rise of Venom, I can't lie, I kinda get it. Also there's a huge Mothman thirst on Tumblr if you know where to look. Or just cryptid thirst in general. The cryptid thirst is real. Might I suggest we replace the term monster... you-know-what-ers on your channel with Monster Mashers just because I think that would be kinda hilarious! Also on the topic of future videos, with the release of the new Netflix Umbrella Academy adaptation, *SPOILERS* I think you might find it kinda interesting to talk about the Allison/Luther ship, or just adopted sibling ships in general. Because the narrative of the show at least in my read presents the ship as a good thing, and so far the reaction has been super polarized on the part of fans. It feels like the beginning of some real fandom discourse it could be interesting to take a look at in its early days. Not to mention there are other Hargreeves sibling ships that fans have taken to that I could see maybe taking off. And it's not just The Umbrella Academy that raises the very real question of "is this ship incest/morally okay." The CWs The Flash has Barry and Iris raised together from the time they're 11, which fans are okay with, but on the flip side, Supergirl has Alex and Kara come from the same situation, but they're presented 100% as sisters and the fandom is very anti-Kara/Alex as a ship. I know The Fosters had some weirdness with adopted siblings too, I think, but I never actually watched it. Anyway, the whole topic seems like an interesting talking point you might want to explore in a future video. Either way, I know I'll be keeping an eye on the Umbrella Academy shipping landscape to see exactly how things go.

I am aware of all of these. Even the ones I wasn't there for. Never change, fandom. I appreciate the Sidon/Link shoutout. I ship them very much. Also, my favorite thing about the Bowsette thirst was actually all the Japanese artists making fanart of her. From manga artist, to anime character designers, to video game developers. I always get a kick out of seeing these professional s indulge in fanart. And they're Japanese too and you know those Japanese like their anthros. Last note, I was literally internally screaming at the mention of Onceler. I had war flashbacks...

1. I'm gonna be real here, I love Bowsette, her design is gorgeous and I love me some good thicc 😤👌🏻 2. There's this new character in The Dragon Prince season 2, Aaravos, I never thirsted over someone so fast in my LIFE (there's a video of his appearances in the show so far, his voice is smooth butter to my ears) 3. I'd have to say that all the monsterf*cker thirst is pretty weird to me. Sometimes I understand the appeal of them, but other times I just sit down and wonder "Are y'all OK?". It may not be an particularly odd one, but when I first saw the David Linch film "the girl with the dragon tattoo", I really have "thirsty" feeling towards both male and female protagonists, played by the Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara, like, basically I want them respectively, and at the same time, I want them be together, I ship them too. Especially in the live action. 9) Chris Perry (Charmed) Drew Fuller was at his hottest when he was Chris. Bianca died a lucky woman. 10) Cole Turner (Charmed) Hot as hell. 11) Jacob Black (Twilight) Team Jacob! 12) Drake (Drake & Josh) He was so cool. 13) Danny Phantom Hot. 14) Ron Stoppable Developed slowly over time but I like a confident man. 15) Thor (Marvel) Accent and got the body. Plus the hair. I was in love with his hair. This movie took away the hair and moved him down the list. 16) Jarred Leto Joker (Suicide Squad) The hottest thing in the movie. Made me understand why Harley wanted to be with him. 17) Peter Parker (Rami-Verse, Into the Spider-verse) Cute man. Hot cartoon. 18) Hux (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) Read a lot of explicit fics about this man. Dom! (^^)b Not sure if it counts since both of the series hasn't released their pilots yet but the amount of love and fangirling I've seen for Black Hat from Villainous and Alastor for Hazbin Hotel. There's even a character within the show for Villainous who is in love w/ BH and represents the many fan-girls who find him attractive. Her name's Dementia btw. As for Alastor, all I can say is; "Strawberry Pimp". ;)

Yess, part 2! Anything Hannibal! The wendigo (fivesome!), blood covered Hugh Dancy and murdery Will Graham (when killing as Abel Gideon) might be some of the thirstiest parts of the fandom!

Oddest thirst? Probably Deathstroke. I’ve always liked the guy, but I heartily enjoy his design in Rebirth (his murder fluff hair). For a guy who’s gone white, he ain’t looking too bad. Yami Bakura and/or Yami Marik were old ones. Also, who can forget the thirst for Nightwing and his glorious booty that will get talked about when given the opportunity.

Everytime I watch The Shape of Water, all I can think about is the similarity between Amphibian Man and Abe Sapien. Since I love Abe, I definitely understand the thirst for Amphibian Man :) Other characters I had "thirst" for when I was like 12- Shang from 'Mulan' and Robin Hood from the Disney film. I think I will answer this weeks vid with my first thirst and current thirst. My first thirst happened back when I was in high school and I saw Transformers Armada for the the first time, and this began a life time thirst for me in Starscream. Yes my starscream thirst began with Armada Starscream who was a loyal soldier unlike most other iterations of the character. There was just something about his personality and drive that sang to me. Not long aftetr finishing that series I watched G1 for the first time and my Starscream thirst began again with the episode Fire in the Sky which would also introduce me to my OTP of Starscream x Skyfire. And my most recent thirst and current obsession has to be Oswald Cobblepot from Gotham! Like many others I am thirsty for the Penguin himself. Not something I was expecting when I first watched the show so many years ago. He is tenacious, cunning and cruel but also the sweetest little cutie in my eyes and I know I am not alone in this thought. I love him so much I have read countless fics with mainly around three different pairings, those being Nygmobblepot (Edward x Oswald) Gobblepot (James Gordon x Oswald) and Zsaszllepot (victor zsasz x oswald) the last of which needs more love because they are just so adorable together. Ok maybe I have a little thirst for Victor Zsasz in Gotham too....

So there's one fandom I'm in, which is just... so tiny. it's a podcast called SAYER, which follows a few vaguely-GLaDOS/HAL9000-esque AI, which are completely disembodied, and most of the episodes end in the deaths of the hapless humans they guide around science facility Because this fandom is so small, the creator knows...not everything, but a decent portion of what goes down He's making a dating sim for us. Everyone's very excited to smooch the AIs

Random suggestion: although the last character who needs more attention from shippers is Tony Stark, it might still be great to see a video touching on the rising, oddly specific trend in fanfiction of villains kidnapping Tony and specifically dubbing him their "Pet." (Most commonly Loki, Thanos, or Hydra agents.) I'm personally convinced this trend began with "Abyss," the fic that goes with the infamous Frostiron BDSM picture that RDJ fond and shared. If all that wasn't weird enough, many of these involve Thanos getting Tony pregnant.
