Your white set up looks super clean and professional Daryl. That Humpter booth has always been one of my favorite set up still today. I personally like Black better but that white is super slick and clean looking for sure. Can wait to see more gig logs with your new set up. Great job.
That new all white setup looks AMAZING!!! Hope you like the Macbook. I'm a Windows user for life. I've never had any issues whatsoever with my Windows laptops for DJing so no need for me to switch. I know you were really excited about using your new EVOX 12s. I don't blame you. Your white EV-50s would have also worked well in that room in my opinion. Anyway, I'm happy for you. That new all white setup with the spinning platters is beautiful to me. Can't wait to see you using the white Rane One too.
Yeah Evolve 50's probably would have been okay for this particular situation, although I probably would have picked them up the handles and awkwardly rotated them during dinner lol. Thought about getting white evolves but just thought I'd try these out instead. Still have my black ones My windows gaming machine was a 2017 and it was physically falling apart. The charging port broke in 2021 and while it was getting repaired, I tried a macbook to see if the grass was greener on the other side (and in case my laptop couldn't be fixed). I was just really impressed with how smoothly it operated SS and VDJ and running video.
@@DJDarylBennett My bad. I don't know why I thought you had a pair of white EV-50s too. Yeah, you def made the right choice bringing your white EVOX 12s. Thanks for explaining why you went with the Macbook. Makes sense to me even though I have a feeling had you just purchased a new Windows laptop, it would have worked just as well as the Macbook, if not better. Take that comment with a grain of salt knowing that I am strictly Windows all the way lol.
Looks great! After I try new setups, I sometimes wonder if it’s worth it. You are great on your promotion so showing that off will be a feather in your cap! Me, not so much.
That's why I always want the setup to make my life easier as a mobile dj, so that it is worth it, even if it doesn't impact the client experience too much. Although I think our setup do help immensely!
6 tubes? I’m considering what the right amount would be for a basic dance floor lighting. I always feel better when I see your SUV. It reminds me I’m not the only one who doesn’t use a van or trailer.
I have a trailer, but I don't want to rely on it for every gig, so many places don't allow trailers. This was really 4 tubes around the dance floor, 2 by my dj station. I think 4 is a good number to get started with, you can get a second set later on if you feel the urge
Hey Daryl, awesome looking setup! I'm in the same boat, bunn to b3... I do have a question. What are you doing about your mic antennas with the humpter? Are u just running them on the back of the receiver? If so, have you had any dropout problems, particularly during toasts situations?
New setup looks dope! Thanks for always sharing your tips. How did your mic receiver work with it under the booth? I was curious where you kept your antennas.
sick set up mate, had lattency issues with asio drivers on my windows machine while dj'ing. Switched to mac for more than 10 years ago and never ever looked back. I think you'll like what apple core audio does for you.
Looks great, bud! How did you feel using the Humpter booth? I stopped to see where the table height was on you to see if you had to bend at all. You have an inch on me so I look at you and Logan (LoStax) when it comes to tables or booths.
Daryl, nice job. I think people like the white,,,I like your black stuff better to be honest. But thats just me….But it does look very very classy. Nice job man making it through it! Jeff
I have my suit pants on and a black polo while I’m setting up then I just changed my shirt and tie. Sometimes I get lucky and the couple is so laid-back. I can just throw a jacket over my polo.
