This mask must be the most advanced piece of software/hardware ever conceived. It must track his eye's movement and maybe some face expressions. I can only imagine how inhumane his expressions must be.
My thoughts on it are since Wrench most likely engineered it himself, odds are he has a neural sensor that detects his emotions. With said emotions, he programmed certain "emotes" into the mask to display how he feels/what he's thinking. The little thing in the top middle of his mask is most likely a camera so he's able to see through the mask if I had to guess. Voice changer included somewhere in all that lol If you think about it, Wrench is pretty fricken smart to do all that himself
We all need a friend like Wrench. He has a great sense of humor, a technological genius, cares deeply for his allies and he's absolutely willing to tear down a corrupt business without even needing to be asked.
Logic : How can he drink with a mask on? How can he see with the lights? How does his voice modulator work? How do the lights create perfect images for what he wants? Me: Because he's wrench
There's a camera above the visor, which is probably how he can see. I'd assume in this time of facial recognition, he might have a program rigged to read his facial expressions as a sort of macro for different projections on the visor.
he lifts the mask to drink there is a therory that the white dot o nthe mask forehead area is a cam voice modulators can be pritty compact and the lights i assume its like a phone screen but specalised for that
1:45 by far the funniest moment of the whole game Wrench an already cool and funny character accidentally spilling his beer talking about sledgehammers on fire is some of the funniest shit I’ve seen playing games
That nod that Wrench gives at 11:21 just SCREAMS "Dude you have no idea." Still makes my skin crawl but OH MY GOD WHO AM I KIDDING I STILL FUCKING LOVE WRENCH!
I know this is about Wrench but I couldn't help to notice Josh hands movements here at 7:04 and love the detail. I don't know how many people know that but I do that myself when stressed or nervous so actually seeing him do that feels relatable for once, sure there were always some characters I related to on a emotive level but I really relate a lot to him in some occasions and seeing him do the same hand gesture as me is kinda cool even if he's probably stressed which does make me feel bad even if fictional because I can understand how annoying it can be and because I can understand what level of stress he's at to be doing that.
i swear they put this man in here thinking "Oh yeah he's perfect for all the simps out there" its 2021 and im still obsessed with the watch dog games and wrench
This is what Watch Dogs Legion is missing. Characters that you can get interested in. It feels so robotic compared to the first two games. Don't get me wrong, the thought of permadeath and actually recruiting NPC's to become PC's are awesome ideas. But if you don't care about the characters, don't have distinct personalities, or they don't have cool interactions, like in this game then what's the point?
That’s honestly what had me concerned when I saw the trailers. You have a greater pool of characters, sure. They all have their own routines, okay. But the fact that they’re just faces and names with little else about them AND there’s permadeath so at some point you realize there’s less to be invested in. As a side note, I once ran into a copy of an NPC I had already recruited from the beginning and it was the weirdest thing ever lol
That's why i had only 4 operatives to play with: Aiden, Wrench, Darcy and Death. They have decent voice acting, unique outfits and when they interact with each other is not cringe
Even though Wrench is my fav in Watchdogs 2, Aiden is still my all time fav, he has an awesome backstory and a sad twist, the story is awesome, and kinda makes me sad.
@@orrins8554 I promise I have the same thing. I have big thing for steampunk goggles as well. Most all of my video game crushes have covered eyes and a mask. 😂 Deadpool I like, Scorpion, all these masked characters.
