I’ve been on Lifesum for almost a year now and I lost 110 pounds ! I’ve tried many apps but life someone always remain my top favorite you guys did an amazing job ❤️
I like the app but i believe it would be so great to be able to choose workout videos from youtube, just like Chloe Ting's workouts, and that the app would count how many calories you've burned, because i can't tell every single excercise i do with those videos.
Is there a way to add your workouts if you're following an off app video? I've been following Chloe Tings workouts and can't find out how many calories they burn to add it in. Would be great if you could connect to off-app workouts
Hey, we do not have a desktop version but you can add your recipes in-app, by going to track something, go to favourites on the top and adding meals or recipes :) If you have other questions, please send an email to contact@lifesum.com and our team will help you out!
This might be a dumb question but, the area that shows u how many carbs protein and fat you have left right. Is that the MAXIMUM you CAN eat, or are you SUPPOSED to reach those numbers
Why is it that at 0:52 you see the nutrition information and the wheel says 36% protein and 63% fat, while if you look at the numbers it says 13,5g protein and 10,7g fat. This does not match up at all and ive found that every single food in this app have this missmatch wich is very missleading for the users.
Hi! I would like to track my average intake of macros and micros on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis. Does your app have that function? Does it also allow ingredient substitution for recipes in its database that I can save for later use? Lastly, can it also proactively check and tell me if I lack particular vitamins, nutrients or macros?
Is it possible to adjust how many g of proteins you wanna eat per day? Sometimes I adjust the calorie intake according to my coach recommendation, but my protein intake is not changeable according to my diet, so it’s very important that i can adjust the daily intake according to my own liking.
Is there a way to view the app in landscape as opposed to portrait on my iPad? It is very inconvenient to use it this way as I have a hard keyboard attached to my iPad.
So i have a question, if you have 1800 calories in a day and you are down to about 400 and you burn 1000 calories. the app brings your calories back up to 1400. If i eat that 1400 will i lose weight still or dose that disrupt the calories in calories out?
We recommend you not eat the calories you burned back, even more, if these calories are from a wearable, since they tend to overestimate calories burned. Also, it is not a healthy relationship with food and exercise if you exercise with the mindset you will be able to eat more. The best way is to exercise regularly, eat your calories from nutritious foods a day until you reach your weight goal. As soon as you do, change the app to maintain and you will be allowed more calories per day and your relationship with dieting will be healthier.
No, I use the free version. It limits what you can see, meaning you don't have full access to everything the app offers. I was skeptical about this app, but so far I've lost 5.4lbs. So I'm cool with the free version. I do meal prep, & I literally track everything I eat, drink, sleep, exercise etc. This app just helps me stay accountable.
Lost 24kg using this :) but I don't know if I'm supposed to eat the full amount of kj to keep loosing weight or if I'm supposed to eat under the amount it tells me.
If you set your app to lose weight, you have to eat all the calories the app tells you, we already set a calorie deficit, and if you eat less than that you might not get all the nutrients you need to have a healthy body.
This app is expensive and there seems to be no way number one to track micro nutrients which are crucial in number two to add a recipe which my fitness pal and other apps make easy to do. Once you choose a diet, how do we get the heck off because now my fruit and seafood trackers argon based on choosing a different diet. Not helpful.
So I'm fat, why is it that these Apps tell me I can eat 3000 calories a day and lose weight, but the nutritionist I saw said 1800 calories. So confused.
I want to add food to an object called "lunch box". When I consume that "lunch box", the accumulated calories in the lunch box will be added to the days intake.
In this app you need to pay too much money... Hate... Take away the purchases. I understand one function you have to pay for, but when you demand money at every turn...
