When it comes to filling your boiler, steer clear of distilled water, reverse osmosis, rainwater, demineralized water, perfumed water, water from clothes dryer machines, and water from household dehumidifiers. These sources are too pure and lack minerals, which means they have no conductibility. As a result, the probe inside the boiler won't be able to detect the water level. Keep your boiler running smoothly by using the right kind of water. The Laurastar products have been designed to work with tap water. Please note that no additives should be added at any time such as perfumed water, water containing chemical products, or water collected in the dryer as these may damage your Laurastar products. If your tap water is very hard or contains many minerals (e.g., well water, hard water, water softener, many minerals in water), we recommend using store-bought spring water.
