This is the best budget tablet to date. Yeah audio solutions is not that great but considering the spec and screen, you definitely get more for your money. I hope the Realme Pad Mini 2 will have this upgrade their screen and internals to this instead of mediocre chipset and display.
I got this at an introductory discounted price. I think its good value. The amount of ram and the 256gb storage is absolutely a good deal. The tablet runs smoothly on all my basic tasks. Being that i dont play games on this tablet, it really works well with my regular use on social media, youtube, streaming, shopping app and reading online comics. Plus you get lte connectivity.
I love small tablets. I have all the decent ones that are recent except the Lenovo Tab M9. I'll definitely be picking this one up. Surprising it took so long for someone else to make a small 1080P tablet with usable specs.
At least it's better than Samsung Tab A9 within this price range - better screen (1080pvs720p), much more ram (8+8GB vs 4GB) and much more ROM storage. It's best for reading text, manga and light video(as the screen quality is not good if you compare to decent device monitor and a shitty speaker), but hey at this price, this is more than enough 🤝
I have the 8.4 mini pro. Is okay. The bad, screen is plastic, so putting a glass screen protector is almost impossible without bubbles since screen is not 100% level like glass. Screen is hard to move really small thinks precise. Sound quality is pretty bad, so i dont even use internal speakers and use a bluetooth speaker mount. Good: pretty quick processor, basic ram is fine without having to double it in settings. Plenty of space, ota updates have actually been regular, new one about every 3 months.
It looks good but sadly alldocube never offer software updates on their tablets, would be better off getting something from a bigger manufacturer if you value updates.
Thanks for this video! I've got a Headwolf Fpad 3 on the way. I just needed something between the size of my phone and my larger tablet for reading during my commute. Just wondering how your tablet handles one note (just for reading notes, of course not for writing)
My only concern about this tablet are the updates, as mentioned if you don't get the support within the following 2 years (at least), you will end up with a useless piece of hardware, hope we could get some commitment from the tablet manufacturer
Dude, I feel you! Updates are crucial, and it's a bummer when a device becomes obsolete. Fingers crossed that the tablet manufacturer steps up their game and gives us the commitment we need.
Best android mini tablet for me would be Huawei's Mediapad m6 8.4. the only downside is IT'S FREAKIN HARD TO FIND. even though it's a 2019 tablet, it's specs are flagship grade.
Interested in this tablet for a project I have in mind...is it able to be docked to a USB hub that supports video out to monitor via HDMI from the hub?
I'll was going to push the button on this tablet but thankfully i just saw your video. Was mainly gonna use it to watch YT and Netflix but this widevice bullshit made me quit. Have never heard about this before and it seems to be total nonsense as you have a 1080p screen but u can't use.
I bought one of these a couple weeks ago, and I'd have to say that I am impressed. The 8 gb RAM is doing a hell of a lot for the performance. This little thing is just as good as my iPad mini 6.
I preordered this tablet for 119€ and have it in use now for one week. The performance is very good for that price (8GB ram/256GB rom), the display is bright and sharp, the batterie last for several hours by constant use, the body is made of aluminum. The Cons of this tablet are the poor sounding mono loudspeaker and both cameras are crap. But it`s ok for me, for a better sound I can use bluetooth speakers and I never use a tablet for making photos.
Many thanks for the very informative review. Great job! Can the USB C port be also used as an audio output interface? I have a portable headphone amplifier and it can only be used when connected to a USb C port. Thank you.
I have used 11 inches xiamoi pad 5... eventually selling it cus it's just huge .... this should be ok... my only dilemma is no made for it stylus pen capability....but i need a smaller tab for script writing and voice over prods...
Can someone tell me if this tablet supports a 1 TB micro SD card? Amazon claims 512 GB. Because of that alone I'm considering DooGee T20 mini pro but it's slightly heavier. Edit: it works
This or samsung A9. I will use it on netflix and I heard it can only play standard quality. The A9 can play HD it I heard the screen on that is just tft. Hope someone can help which is better.
You can purchase new version of this model, same name but add "NFE" I also want to buy tablet now, after extensive search, i could purchase this for 140$ Cheaper price than base a9 which is 720p screen, low spec, and also 4gb ram.
they look very tempting. the headwolf fpad5 looks almost the same. I think what holds me back from trying one is I do not know if i can connect it to an external display via c>to>hdmi, or the wireless mirror thing (which my budget tv surprisingly can do with one tap on the tablet icon).
I've been looking around for decent 8/9-inch tablets but never heard of Alldocube before... is this brand reliable??? I would want a tablet that would last at least 2 years
Its been good, I have a few Alldocube tablets in the past and they still work, just that don't expect too much software updates from them, you get what you paid for.
Using Alldocube I play 20 which I've had a few years now, it's been pretty solid. Use daily for streaming, RU-vid, TikTok, Rumble and films. Crashed half a dozen times but always powers up again no problem. Dropped many times including down the stairs with no problem😬. It's also running as fast as the day I bought it. The battery is finally starting to go but still get 3 or 4 hours, generally got to say it's been a brilliant for such a cheap tablet. At present I'm looking to replace with the 50 pro max however I'm very tempted with the Doogee T30 pro currently it's just under 200GBP and looking a better tablet than the iplay 50. I hate tablets without 3.5 headphone jack socket and the Doogee T30 also Camara and video look a bit better. Hope this helps👍
Hi! Great video. I recently bought this tablet and I really enjoy it. I saw that your menu has kinda bluette color, while mine is like pinky. Is there a way to change theme color?
