It's so unfortunate that the service manual for Qu32 cannot be easily acquired But I was able to troubleshoot and repair this Qu32 with no sound on all of its output

Hi @U-Gears, Please I need help with my QU-32, one of the faders (Channel 31) has become non-responsive. Do you know what really is wrong with it. have You mayby electronic diagram for ending the audio channel of this mixer?? I have problem with LR output. I can hear both channels in headphones but output R is silents. I would be grateful for a piece of the diagram.
I’m having the same problem with no output on any of the outputs. All the inputs work fine and the outputs on the stage box work fine. The power supply voltages all appear to be in spec. Did you have a problem with the AC power fail signal or the power good signal on the one that you fixed? Or was a voltage out of spec ? It’s interesting that Alan Heath has so many problems in this area and yet they do not publish the schematics on the boards, and provide no online help. It is wonderful that at least the international community is stepping up to help our fellow Audio technicians in need of some assistance. Thank you

Do you happen to have pictures of those capacitors? And I am assuming you will see no physical damage to the components, correct? Did you buy the replacements at a local shop
@@jonathonkelly5004 Yes,They show no physical defect Check the board which the power plug socket is attached to There are two big grey coloured ceramic capacitors on it Those were the one’s i replaced for both freezing at startup problems and No output problem
Ajuda com os faders. Quando altero entre os mixes de saída, 1, 2, 3 qualquer saída alguns faders sobem aleatoriamente e nem sempre são os mesmo. @@u-gears It seems to be an software problem maybe. Look at this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pQ8PtnzypRc.html the mixer turns on but get frozen at boot screen. I've turned on with master reset and some of mute lights turned off, so something is happening, but it didn’t boot still. I have tried to force install the firmware using an USB drive and the procedure I found at Allen Heath documents, but the mixer read the USB device because it creates the folder structure but it did not reinstall the firmware (I format the USB drive before as the procedures asks). I would like to know if there is any way to make some diagnostics o even install the firmware using an windows software and back USB as well as if there is any flash drive inside mixer where I could erase and re-write the firmware. Hope you can understand my issues and doubts. Tell me if there is an e-mail where I can contact you.
@@kurilov Its not software issue, Its a bad PSU unit, check the PFI Detector as well It’s commonly attributed to failure of some startup voltage being absent from the PSU
@@u-gears Thanks for helping me. I will check the Power Supply Unit and see if there is any voltage dropped or missing. What about Power Failure Input Detector? Where can I find it on circuit? Is there any place where I can buy an spare PSU or even PFI? I would be able to fix it, but just to know
The damage is in the power supply protection circuit just beside the input terminals There is a pair of Non Electrolytic capacitors on the Circuit Replace the Caps and that solves freezing and No output problems
