Nice vid and shoes... I own several pairs of AE Shells, half are factory seconds. That color variation is not a defect; AE orients the grain pattern of all shells to create a contrast - it’s a nice attention to detail.
Pretty nice shoes you picked up. I have some AE shoes in Shell and they are nice. The minor rolls would not bug me as they can work their way out with wearings. Id love to see a video of them on your feet and worn a month or two later.
i got 3 pairs of cordovans...shoe tree you really require if you stacking them ...or polishing them. they done loose their form if you put in a good box
I saw the same shoe in oxblood at an AE factory store in an outlet center. They didn't have my size but they found the last pair in the USA at a factory store in Wisconsin. I paid $160 plus tax and its not a second. I got lucky.
@@davidpielykh3996 My shoes look identical to the shoes in the video. Can you tell me how you know them to be calfskin and not cordovan if my shoes are identical and the same model? Is it the price? Or do you know something in particular about this shoe?
@@arniewolsky3638Sure. I have been watching AE Cordovan models prices for 2 years and I can assure you they do not sell cordovan shoes this cheap. Also, there is no "Oxblood" cordovan color that AE offers.
@@Bankaban27 Please, I don't understand as my shoes are the same color and model as the cordovan shoes in the video. Are you saying the shoes in the video are not oxblood? The video claims he purchased his cordovans for less than $200.
@@arniewolsky3638 AE call this particular shell color Burgundy. You may want to check 4 digit shoe model number that should be on the tongue, it will bring us to conclusion. For example Oxblood Leeds should have 9527 on it.
Daddy o’s review YT Channel already renamed himself Cordovan Fanatic... You sir are a noob... (3 pairs? Lol) He owns over 30! Everything from AE, Alden, BB, Crocket&Jones, etc... Check him out!
