Excellent video - you made some good points in favour of an electric machine. I want to get an Allett 17" machine and have the same size lawn you do. Currently bringing the lawn condition up so that it would make sense to get such a machine. Ease of use and quietness are good arguments - also I would add maintenance - getting the engine serviced should be done yearly - not necessary if it's electric. All the best, Rob

🌞Great review of the Allett! I really like the cartridge feature on the Alletts. I do wish I could adjust the handle bars a wee bit higher. Overall, sweet machine, and great video!!.👍

Great review Clint. I considered the Liberty 43 but ended up going with the Kensington 17H. I have over 10k ft. so the Liberty wouldn’t work due to time. I gotta say though that I love the Allett products.

Yes it really is. I can soon this like a top and there is no damage what so ever to the turf. Worth every penny!

Still hopeful to find a proper greens mower for the backyard practice facility and putting green, but, everything I've seen puts the Allett stuff way ahead of the other "residential" reel options. Great video.

Thanks Jason. There is nothing wrong with the toro gm's, Jacob's, or the sward's. I have nothing against them. But they are so expensive, big and heavy. Plus oil and gas. You can pick this guy up for 2k NEW and it tucks away in the corner of the garage. I love it!

@@TheNeighborDominator yup, I have limited space in my garage and my wife will not take kindly to a Toro GM. This is small enough that I can still tuck it in a corner, now I just need an extra 2k to burn! Too many house projects already, This will have to wait, but my GW manual helps scratch the itch in the meantime.

Thanks! The rear is metal and the mower has a little float to it but it is extremely light. I will ask about a grooved roller. It is so minor though.

Very very cool review bro! I am in the market for a battery reel mower and I want to get an allet but the only thing stopping me is the bedknife... what do u think about it only having 2 bolts? Also when you send it in for sharpening, do they replace the bedknife or just put a new relief on it?

I like the two bolts. You can takenit out so fast. And as far as the bed knife th bed knife is re ground putting new relief. They have plenty of thickness for grinding rather than replacing each year.

If Allett sees this. Allett should really put bar grooves and magnets on the bottom of the grass catcher so when storing, It stays in place! BOOM!

The dolly is a rear roller saver! I had Kentucky blue on my last lawn and this one is perennial rye.

Can this mower use generic batteries (29472 generic models) besides the greenworks brand? Greenworks charges premium for their batteries.

St. Augustine it’s a grass that looks better and grows better if is tall. This mower is for very short grass, like 3/4 or lower. Bermuda, Zoyza fescu is best

How is the reliability been on the battery? Have you noticed any degraded battery life since you have been using it for almost a year? I purchased 2 cub cadet electric rear engine riders and both chargers failed after 2 uses. I like the benefits of battery powered, but apprehensive after my most recent experience.

My Liberty is still crushing! Battery is good. Haven't noticed a decline yet but I am also only mowing 1500sq ft. I double cut it everytime so more like 3k. Charger and battery are still strong. It's a solid machine and I am not sponsored by them in any way!

And you can see that on almost every stripe. I have watched the video you mentioned and read a lot about it. The video is very detailed and I was surprised with the findings. The weight effect on the battery and motor gets even more obvious on thick grass. I like Allett but waiting for them to come up with an update before pull the trigger on one.

Started watching your videos when I got interested in Allett mowers! I am interested in Liberty43. My lawn is only 2000sq.ft. I still have to gradually lower HOC even before I use this mower.. is your battery 5Ah or 2.5Ah ? just wondering which battery to get. thank you.
