Great vid as always! I've just gotta let you know, you and your channel are the soul reasons i still play ra3. (Sybert is a reason aswell) Somehow your videos just make me want to play the game. You deserve alot more subs and i bet you would have just that if ra3 was more active. Also, are you working on a empire balancing history vid because i really enjoy those. Your unit videos are my absolute favorite but any content works fine by me!
This video was great, i had trouble playing as the allies. Though i really prefer the early rush for The Empire and Soviet Union That's why i really didn't gave much attention to the allies since i am more of a build harass and defend. (Playing Tiberium wars really messed me up)
I mean to be fair, allies may have some advantages, but also other factions do have theirs, as tengus for empire, use them wisely to defend and of course build defenders, and also soviets with their bullfrogs. But yeah I mean it's all about micro management which I suck at (pretty visible in the latest stream of XYHC🤣🤣)
Xych thx for this videos i am playing as soviet or empire fraction but so many times try to resist op alies fraction :) please make same tip videos to counter alies nation :) espacialy early game
Can you make a guide on how to Micro Vindicators so it just uses 1 bomb instead of all of them? I don't understand how to do that even though it was explained.
@@xeruexe1624 The Javelin phase is the early game, and it will continue with cryorush, so advanced aeronautics are taken to give the vindicators extra bomb and the other's extra bulk.
Philosophical question: is it fun though playing through rush? With friends sometimes we prefer to have a rule of 5 mins without attacking each other in the main base :D
Wanna get philosophical? From a game design point of view, rushing is one of the three categorized RTS play styles (rush, turtle, eco) that is crucial to the balance of the game and diversity of RTS strategies. Taking out rushing would destroy an RTS game's counter system - It's like taking out "scissors" from rock paper scissors. RTS designers have to put a lot of efforts into making available effective rush builds that aren't impossible to counter. There, I'm an actual game designer. Also Empire would be OP if there was a 5 minute house rule. So would Soviet Crane Opener become the best strategy. See the balancing issues here?
Very well described dude xyhc :) i also have a answer @jester question rushing game usualy reducing gaming time if you instert a gap like 5-10 min what ever. Playing time increase and you feel more enjoy (you may control more type of units , bigger army) at those games my personal comment :)
You will be happy to know that I make airfield required both powerplant and a barracks. I fricking have to revamp the whole game balance. I put cryocopter in tier 3 and need tech lab. 😂 But they are cheaper and more HP....not that it matters since all I buff every faction AA making Soviet has the best anti light air unit in the game. I make them really weak late game, but tech, build and cheaper over all than the other two factions. But they wont withstand late game for long at all. I half carrier drones HP again. And extremely slow and smaller blackout missile, 😂 Shogun Battleship is vack being terrifying now.... But Kirov though, mine has 10000 HP and deal 100 more damage, but move slower and cost 2500. I buff dreadnaight to have highest Radius and and attack closes minimum range out of all the siege ship. Shit, I should write a whole patch notes. Lmfao
i also use that tatic in early games but soviet i always make 3 bullfrogs and make 15+ flak troopers and many sickle (if i have super reactor ill built alot of hammer tanks) but it may seen expensive but i always make barracks before refiniry
