As part of KCRW's Summer Nights events series, Grand Performances presented Allison Russell on Saturday, September 3rd, 2022 at California Plaza in Downtown Los Angeles.
Allison Russell sings about deliverance and redemption, about the places and people and realizations that helped her survive and claim her freedom. Her 2021 album Outside Child was hailed by critics and nominated for three Grammys.
