Hey all - It is important top keep in mind how your vehicle was designed. Always do your research before switching wheel types. We re-uploaded this video to correct a sound issue. Enjoy!
I love that you are doing these videos in one take, it's refreshing. Please keep it up. Make mistakes, misspeak whatever, it's honest and it's appreciated.
Stock alloy until they break and then maybe go to steal. The volume on your mic was on the low side. The tail end music was at the right volume. Just FYI.
Agreed on the old style military/Jeep/Landrover dished steel; those are the best, most functional looking wheels made. My Fronty Pro4x came with decent looking alu wheels and unless I come out one morning and the truck is on blocks with the wheels missing I think they're staying put.
For those who love the old steel wheel look like the ones on that Land Rover, but need the light weight of aluminum wheels, I'd recommend Fifteen52's Analog HD wheels. Have them on my Toyota pickup and love them.
JLUR (2019) - currently stock/OEM alloy wheels, plan on running these for a bit and as my build goes will replace with steel most likely as lift (2.5) and new tires get put one (someday)
Yes but I have read many more other blogs and people have tested the both alloy and steel on the same vehicle. The concusses you don’t save a considerable amount of gas on alloy.
