Ratings on solar panels cannot be trusted, I've seen this time and time again, reviews like yours give us a Good understanding of which make/model would suit us best; cheers Chris!

Always expect 30% less than the rating ...so a 100w panel will usually give you 70w.

@@PaulPaid Yes but I've actually seen little 50 watt ones sold as 100 Watts. I guess watt I meant to say was 'beware of fraudulent sellers'.

Subscribed Thanks - What controller? Got the ALLPOWERS S300 and 100w panel which is fine as the S300 has an MPPT controller built in. What solar charge controller would you recommend to charge a pair of 12 volt gel leisure batteries using the ALLPOWER 100w panel? Preferably one that can charge lead acid and gel Thanks Tony

Hello and greetings. Well I like/d ur video and I have that same panel. I really dig the panel because I mess around with mine up and down a lil bit at a time and I can usually get mine to pull in 89 watts on a steady, I use an EcoFlow River Max also, don’t know if that makes a difference.

I'd like to know if I can mix and match? Do different branded panels work if you connect them together? I had a powdery milky sky (not blue) and got zero watts from my panel... It was a beautiful hot day.

You can connect two dissimilar panels in series. Keep in mind that this adds the voltages together. Make sure the sum of the open circuit voltages of the panels is not too high for you charge controller.

The renogy link takes me to their website ok but the price is higher than you say. It's 'on sale' there for 149.99 not the £120.

Thanks for watching, I continued testing this panel in the morning cooler weather. I managed to get 74watts, mid-day sun it was 64watts, I cannot remember what I said! Panel is affected by heat, this is normal.
