I’m loving Ally it’s so easy to set everything up. They are also compatible with my credit building apps which is a huge plus. A lot of banks are not credit building friendly.
I have just opened a savings and checking with Ally for my 2nd bank. With PenFed Credit Union for my local branch. Sounds like you are happy with Ally Bank since having all those accounts.
When you save enough for your goal to transfer out - what happens to the goal? Also what happens when you need to withdrawal generally, does it come out of core first?
So if I want to use this like an envelope system vs just sinking funds, I'm only allowed six transfers? Online transfer meaning if I transfer money from checking to savings buckets, counts as one. And then I'm only allowed to do that five more times before I get charged a fee
Jennifer, my understanding is you can only do 6 transfers *out* of savings before you are charged a fee. You should be able to deposit money into saving as much as you want. Does that help? Let me know.
