jamal guen u should, ibrox is a great stadium, in my 9 times going over, I would say it's well better than any other stadiums in the world, the atmosphere is brilliant, so I'm happy to be a rangers fan and to be a Northern Irish prod
As confirmed by UEFA and FIFA, we're the same club, founded in 1872. Formed by four lads for the love of the game. One of the clubs to make the game into what it is and was in Scotland and Britain. A proud club with a proud history. Rangers then Rangers now Rangers forever No surrender!
Born in 1996 First old fine game this was Never understood it all My ear drums are still ringing 2020 The minute you walk through they doors and you climb so high to the club deck and you see the gate says to your seat/stand. I fell in love. 🇬🇧
lewis macqueen i heard they hate english ino west brom and rangers have been friendly over the years but heard i will get abuse being english by a minority
It's Celtic scum that hate the English, the Rangers supports wears Union jacks with pride. Gees are we talking about a different team here. All English people that live or visitor Scotland come to see Rangers.
It's amazing how many Celtic fans come to watch a video titled "Ally McCoist's Blue and White Army" This past year or so they seem to be more obsessed with Rangers than their own team.
This video just proves how good you guys are you dont understand how jealous i am as a man utd season ticket holder of your support,Ive been high and low in this country but not comes close to you guys
@@kyleb4673 Rangers had an average gate of 32,000 in the championship in 2015 and Celtic sell-out Celtic Park (60,000) anytime they play in Europe but you're calling me a wallaper hahahahaha🤡
Wait, Celtic stole the Poznan (celebration), Grand Old Team (Everton), You'll Never Walk Alone (Liverpool). However Rangers have the Bouncy, Follow Follow, Super Rangers, the Founders Song, etc.
when Craig Whyte bought Rangers FC from Sir David Murray, Rangers FC continued to exist. When Fergus McCann bought Celtic FC there was not only a change in ownership but also a change in corporate status, from The Celtic Football and Athletic Company 1888 to Celtic Football Club Plc. Owners come and go, as do corporate names, but provided liquidation has not taken place the business itself continues with an unbroken, seamless history.Furthermore, if a new company is formed - using assets
Craig Whyte bought the company when he purchased it, he purchased the company and assets using wavetower. Fergus McCann set up a new company and move Celtics assets to it leave the former company with nothing in it, he then moved it to the new company set up and made it a subsidiary. I never said Celtics old company were liquidated but there is nothing going out or coming out that company.
Don't forget the Kelly's and the disaster they brought you £7 million debt and imminent bankruptcy! If it wasn't for Fergus MC,Cann ! He pulled your arses out of the fire!
Rangers: Top of table with only 1 defeat and world record attendance for 3rd division game, over 30,000 strong each game Celtic: Top of spl but only just got to top from being behind Hibernian, a team that came bottom last season. Not to mention the -20,000 strong attendances at saville park.
bought from the old, liquidated company, for the purposes of operating the same type of business - it is not only a new company that has come into being but also the start of a new business venture, irrespective of the nature of that business. In the context of Rangers, the Rangers FC plying its trade in the SFL is a new football club and not the same club as that which played in the SPL. To deny otherwise is contrary to insolvency law.
it was sold as a going concern to a new company from a company that has not been liquidated yet, the assets were sold before liquidation even occured. HMRC knocked back the CVA so the club could continue as a going concern.
When a company is liquidated its business activities cease to exist. The business of Rangers FC Plc was football. When Rangers FC Plc was wound up, so were the football activities of Rangers FC Plc i.e. the football club and associated merchandising etc. The BBC recognised this fact when they observed that “The Rangers Football Club PLC is a public limited company registered in Scotland (company number: SC004276) and was incorporated on 27 May, 1899.
I already answered that question, its impossible for a football club to go into administration or liquidation since its not a corporate entity and that's where a holding company comes in, this is what separates a professional football club in the premier league to other clubs that are amateur or junior. Like every other business its the company that pays the wages and handles the contracts, sponsors. Rangers were voted out of the SPL if you remember correctly
SFL did not want Rangers to automatically go into the SFL1 like the SPL had planned nor did the Rangers support. The SPL share didnt get transferred and again a football club does not have shares but the company does. Charles did not have to wave the receipt because BDO and HMRC already explained that the club with continue. Dermott Desmond your major share holder even acknowledges Rangers as "A fantastic club with great history" or BDO saying its the end of the company that ran the club.
Ashley isn't going to invest any meaningful sums. He's simply paying a million a year to to sell Sevco shirts in his Sports Direct business. D&P released info about the running costs, and it tells you why an angel investor like Bill Miller was put off. To name some of the major annual running costs . £6.5m for utilities £8.5m for lease/hire and paying £7m for players and coaches this season. Major incomes £8m from season tickets (my upper estimate) Match day sales £3m and sponsorship £1.5m.
Even as an Irish Celtic fan....I have to admit this is good support, both Glasgow clubs are miles ahead of ANY western European team in terms of support....and certainly better than any in the Premier league
HMRC - "Moreover the liquidation route does not prejudice the proposed sale of the club. This sale can take place either through a CVA or a liquidation." Malcolm Cohen BDO Liquidator said "It's important to understand that the appointment of liquidators will not mean the end of football at Ibrox - only the end of the company that ran the club" Neil Doncaster - "it is an existing club, even if it is a new company" Non biased people separating club and company. You want any more quotes
If it were otherwise then insolvency law would be a meaningless legal instrument. In terms of statute, there is no law that permits a liquidated company’s history to continue unbroken after liquidation: on the contrary, there is one to prevent such an event taking place - The Insolvency Act 1986. In terms of case law, there is no legal precedent to justify the claim that a liquidated company’s history can legitimately resurface under the guise of another company. Once a company is liquidated,
"...these are happy days for the green and white half of Scotland’s biggest city. For economic reasons, their protestant rivals have been forced to disband.." Barca website
Rangers always try to rock the Celtic atmosphere at Celtic park, Ibrox stadium, Hampden, anywhere in the world but Celtic will try to do the same thing eg the biggest football stadium in the world, Signal Iduna park etc all of the biggest stadiums in Europe will get packed full of Rangers/Celtic fans and would be heard from about 3 or 4 miles away and all the flares, fireworks, and fights outside the stadium
GLASGOW RANGERS THEN, NOW, FOREVER. THANKS FOR THE VIEWS PACIFIC SHELF 595 FANS, NICE TO SEE JUST HOW OBSESSED WITH THE FAMOUS GLASGOW RANGERS YOU ALL ARE. WE ARE THE PEOPLE.
Yes celtic have never been liquidated but what I meant was that the company which runs celtic now moved all the assets from the old company to the new company in 1994. The oldco which has nothing in it was moved to be a subsidiary of the company set up in 1994. So if the company is the club well which company is Rangers, Is it The Rangers Football Club ltd or is it The Rangers International Football Club. Which one is it since in the world of Celtic fans the company is the club
They are trying to claim that AMBAWA is stolen from "paddy mcourts fenian army" lol. Ignoring the fact that Walter Smiths Blue and White Army was sung all throughout the 90s of course!
you can't buy something that has died, club and company the same. who did the players sign for? club and company are one entity, not separate. when a company is liquidated, it's business activities cease to be and the company's business was football. A new club/ company has emerged, that's it
Sorry mate, don't take my word for it. How about a quote from your own chairman? Charles Green: (speaking about Dave King) "...for a man who is the second largest shareholder in the Club...to go out publicly and recommend that the creditors vote down the CVA it seems to me quite unbelievable because what we're doing in that is saying the history, the tradition, everything that is great about this Club, is swept aside".
in case you want to know any more about celtic here’s the simple explanation of Pacific Shelf. McCann turned Celtic from a private company into a PLC. This led to a name change from The Celtic Football and Athletic Coy Ltd to Celtic PLC. This was the same legal entity, it simply changed its name. To stop anyone else ever using the old name of Celtic (The Celtic Football and Athletic Coy Ltd) McCann renamed an off-the-shelf company (Pacific Shelf) to this. no broken history, unlike rangers1872.
The football club was an asset sold. The oldco is not even liquidated yet, BDO are carrying out an investigation. Celtic fans seem to think they are accountants and experts in business when the experts have said that Rangers are the same club, the club was sold as a going concern to a new company.
When the current company is officially liquidated, all of its corporate business history will come to an end.” It is now clear why the main stream media, including Charles Green and the alleged journalist Jim Traynor, held the unequivocal belief that liquidation signalled the demise of Rangers FC. Change of company name or ownership, or indeed a combination, does not in itself represent a cessation of a business’ activities.
Airdrieonians, formed in 1878 (under the earlier exotic name of Excelsior Football Club) went into liquidation in 2002. In the same year Airdrie FC was formed but because of insolvency law could not lay claim to the history of its previous incarnation, which to their credit they accepted with good grace. Other examples include Gretna and Clydebank.Does that mean you can liquidate a football club, or doesn't insolvency laws apply to your lot?
The company ran debts up, the company actually went out of business to a phantom debt created by HMRC. The company is the vehicle that operates the business side of professional football. The football club is the entity that plays in the league how hard is that to comprehend or does it not suit your agenda. The team were deducted 10 points for the holding company entering administration, I dont see how that question is relevant to anything unless you dont understand company law and accounting.
