Mila needed the royal blood somehow.... But I guess Falchion does like Royal Blood alright... I mean, its a Naga fang, perhaps it does not goes too much along with mankind I guess
God Echoes voice acting is so damn spot on especially Mila on how serene she is “That the people might have a means to destroy us” that killed me how sad she sounded
Fujin Yumi Uh Celica had to go on her pilgrimage to get manipulated by Jedah, and she was looking for Mila to begin with. She wouldn’t have gotten her soul eaten by Duma, who then wouldn’t be able to rise. Her development has to do with her finally realizing that humanity is ready to stand on its own. Celica represents Mila and Duma, who can’t let go of the past to embrace a new age, while Alm represents the opposite- humans, and is the perfect example that humans are now independent enough. Kind of reinforces the theme that Alm and Celica are polar opposites in ideology.
@@yourconscience8018 Alm is more like Duma. Duma's ideology was that humans should do things for themself and achieve great feats through their own strength, which is why Rigel was so focused on strength and the strong being at the top. Alm perfectly represents that ideology, as he rises through the ranks and eventually defeats Rudolf through his own power, rather than relying on the blessings of the Gods like the Zofians did. It's in that way that Alm and Celica are opposites ideologically.
Zura That’s exactly what I think (And said, as far as I know). Alm is in the right, and is meant to be in the right, while Celica is meant to represent the old generation, and their eventual realization that it’s time to let go of the new generation and let them walk on their own feet. So of course Celica was required for the story, because it’d be much harder to see both sides with just Alm.
Honestly I find that to be very dumb philosophically. As flawed as Duma and to a lesser extent Mila were, they did nothing comparable to the atrocities humanity has preformed. Their madness is still better than the darkness in the human heart. I guess thats a reason I love Three Houses, it doesnt preach "trust in mankind and not gods". CF route has elements of that, but not completely. And the other routes have Byleth embrace the divine.
Collector Togami Bro he killed his father and his cousin in short succession. Imagine being in his shoes and after all that, accidentally killing the one you love the most.
+Radon Mila told Alm to trust in Falchion. No blood was spilled when he stabbed Celica but instead she is revived. Mila only killed Duma's influence that plagues Celica's mind.
Albein was raised believing that his name was Alm, he answers to it naturally. Celica was raised knowing full well that her true name was Anthiese. Celica has always been an alias.
For some reason, dirty thoughts are crawling into me with the two fighting... Just hearing Celica's voice being possessed, just imagine an 18+ scene with that voice and Alm... you'll get the rest.
@@RichyRitencio I'm a fan of the art style as well as it has grown on me after 2 years but I always imagine what echoes cutscenes would have possibly looked like in a fates/awakening art style. But yeah. Both styles have their pros and cons,in one person's eyes something is perfect in another person's eyes it's tainted. It all comes down to preference imo.
Let's see . . . there's the one Marth's ancestor had, the one that can be obtained if the previous one cannot be retrieved from Gharnef, and Alm's, that's only 3 I know of as Chrom's is one of the previous ones that Marth obtains, while Lucina's is a time displaced version of her father's. Are there more?
The blade remained, the hilt was replaced, and eventually the sword passed down to Chrom & Lucina, but as far as I know that's still only 2 Falchions; Marth's and Alm's. Just checked the Wiki and it appears those are the only Falchions.
True thing: What cause the dragon's madness? A curse? A genetic cause? I don't remember something that explain it (it is not that needed but hey, more is great I suppose)
being alive for way too long, and being way too powerful for your own good I believe. Dragons that didn't convert to Manaketes by storing their power in a dragonstone eventually go haywire (like Mila & Duma) because as they age towards the end of their lifespan, their bodies and mind aren't capable anymore of handling the massive amounts of power they possess. If you look at Tiki, she's put to sleep for milennia because her amount of power stored within her would drive her insane as well
Commander Odinstark When I saw the first trailer for Echoes during the January Nintendo Direct for Fire Emblem, at first, I feared was going to be sub-only like Tokyo Mirage Sessions, exacerbated further by the fact that the Western release was basically one month after the Japanese release date. And yet, Echoes' dub managed to be impeccable, unlike Fates' rather messy dub (released 8 months after the Japanese release).
Wait!... but in Awakening when Chrom meets Lucina he says that there is only one Falchion which is why he says that he trusts what Lucina says about the future... but Alm has a Falchion that looks completely different from Chrom’s.... what the hell is going on Fire Emblem! (And if anyone else knows the reason plz tell me)
Otaku Stuff Maybe because Valentia's Falchion blade was lost to time. After all, Awakening took place 1000-2000 years after The Archanea/Valentia games.
MrAuthor3DS Richard didn't do Xehanort's Heartless (who calls himself "Ansem") in the first game. Billy Zane (who was also that jerk from Titanic, Cal) did the voice in the first game.
so is alm a descendant of marth or something to wield the Falchion? Or was he the exception thanks to Mila? Excuse my ignorance. I never played this game
It's just a seperate Falchion altogether. Alm and Marth are actually in the same time period, just in different continents. I think Echoes takes place a year or so after Shadow Dragon.
Deemo We can think that Walhart and all his line has family bonds with Valentía. Mila's divine tree is indeed in Valm... Also Valm name for the continent suggest that is VALentia
Collector Togami And Valentia eventually became Valm, led by Alm's evil decedent, Walhart. Even though Walhart wanted to get rid of the Grimleal, he still wasn't a very nice guy unlike either of his ancestors (Alm and Celica).
