Welcome to the next ferry flight series. I fly the DA40 NG from Austria to Oman via Greece, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. Follow along on this flight which took place in July 2021. Enjoy!

I swear flying around the world in these small planes sounds so cool. everytime I see your videos I am quoestioning if I should become an airline or a ferry pilot

Hi Captain, ich bin seit kurzem ein riesen Fan der Diamond Flugzeuge, und habe mir eine DA62 zugelegt, mit der ich viel unterwegs bin. Leider nur im Sim (X-Plane). Deine Videos sind sehr unterhaltsam und ich konnte auch einiges von dir lernen im Umgang mit der DA62. Grüße nach Austria.

Nice video. I m happy to see my city in these video. The island after your departure from Kavala is Thasos. It's a beautiful island with amazing beaches to spend your summer vacation.

Hey Micke, just found your videos couple days ago (thx to the youtube algorithm I suppose) and I've bingewatched almost all by now, great content! Just had to comment on this particular one because of Cyprus which I have lots of memories of (flying to holidays back in the day, also landing in Paphos there) I also need to give it a try again in the Flight sim. in one of your videos or maybe a short, can you explain the different canopy positions? the handle has the second little handle but no one at my flight school seems to know how it works! haha

I did not get why you had to push the rudder while in autopilot NAV mode. I would have thought the autopilot is controlling that when required?

The DA40 does not have a yaw damper. So this is why you have to push the right rudder in the climb, even if the AP is on.
