ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

I personally feel that this is the best superman body proportions mold. This superman has a good balance of torso, arms, and legs.. all the other supermen.. skipped leg day ( except the freakishly large version.). - Now I do agree that the hands need to be re-scaled. as they are way too big... The head seems to be a teen young superman, a bit of a buck tooth issue going on. So nice.. but not my favorite. but for me this is the closest perfect body superman.

Hey has anyone noticed the butter fly joints on the knightwing get pretty lose, not like there's very little resistance guess it's not a bad thing just feels a little off. After a day with messing with the figure it ended being like that

I think some of the head scalps for the Superman on some figures is fine but I only seen the one that kind of looks like he has an overbite. By the way I think that they should actually hurry up and do a Christopher Reeves and Brandon Routh figures for a movie anniversary event. Plus they could do the 2 live action series figures as well. What is the best looking Nightwing suit and Superman suit? I think the Superman body is actually from the Black Adams comic book figure line they came out with, which had Green arrow and Batman in that line. The colors is only different.

I don't know that's being kind of nit picky towards the superman, it's based on first appearance Superman when he was just kind of a regular guy but super... it wasn't until later on when other artists started to give their interpretation of him when we got different proportions

Honestly I think the grad sculpt would have been good on the earth 2 superman that's coming out . I like this body for superman it's my favourite. The other superman from return of superman is way to much a specific story line. But this page punchers buck is the best proportioned superman except for those hands 😅

Wish I could have a DC collection in 6" scale and not have to pay $100 a figure for it (love you, but looking at you MAFEX). I give McFarlane credit at times (for his price and the depth of the roster) but too many misses for me with scale, or likeness and then there's the q.c. issues from time to time. Ugh...

I’m sticking with my Atomic Skull 2-pack Superman on the AC1000 body as my definitive McFarlane Superman. That Nightwing is super lazy and the Blue Beetle body isn’t right for a one size fits all body buck. It was wrong for the Riddler too. I feel like McFarlane has been getting away with a lot of stuff from collectors that they would crucify Hasbro over.

Honestly, McFarlane Toys Suck! I have a few because Superman is my favorite super hero, but only core DC Justice League characters which after years I’m still trying to complete. No “classic” Hawkman because he’s a stupid “chase” and the line is finally getting a “classic”Aquaman and Green Lantern. I don’t think McFarlane the company or the man really gets the industry or really cares. Sure, the company seems to be doing okay, mostly because DC almost sells itself but just okay seems to be the bar. Some reasons below: Side eye: Just why? Because Todd likes it and probably thinks people keep their figures in only one pose, so everyone had to deal with it. Pins: They are ugly! Get rid of them already! It’s 2024! Diapers: Are they even trying? Articulation: What a nightmare! And no effort to improve. Faces sculpts: How hard is it to make a good Superman or Supergirl? Dude looks like a lady! Sculpt reuse: Everyone does it but the choices made by MFT make no sense! And what’s up with the hand sizes! 7”: Just why! Because Todd thinks bigger is better. Scaling: No regard for world building. Thinks of them as one offs that you display with side eyes and next to a trading card. Oh yeah, on a stand. Digital BAF: Buy 3 figures so I can get a picture of another figure. Miss me in that one! Digital Action Figures: How is that even a thing. Chases: Oh thanks, now I have buy a bunch of figures I don’t want to maybe get the one I want. Which sometimes is the more accurate one. That’s just messed up! Finally: Batman! Forget other figures needed in the line, here’s another Batman! I want to collect more DC figures but just can’t with this line and I collect too many lines to get into the imports. Honestly again, I hope a more capable domestic company gets the DC license! Across the board, McFarlane Toys suck!
