It was around 100° this afternoon with lots of humidity in the city of Mandaluyong, a part of Metro Manila, in Barangay Barangka Drive.
I was hoping to find an iced drink from a local restaurant that we could review, but after walking a few miles and not finding anything, we got the biggest water we could from a sari sari store and guzzled!🥵🥵🥵
Towards the end of the video I had to sit down in some shade and rest because I was feeling lightheaded and started to see starry vision. 😬
If you're going to be in the Philippines during tag init (hot season) be sure to always have your trusty bempo (face towel) and bottled water!

Kurt, the best time to visit the Philippines is from December to February. Next time, avoid the Summer months and the rainy season. In case you would like to visit again during Summer, try going to Baguio, it’s cooler there compare to Manila. And don’t hesitate to use umbrella when walking under the sun. Make sure you drink fluids with electrolytes like Gatorade before walking outside, because once you sweat you’ll automatically lose essential electrolytes, such as sodium and potassium.

@@amissaanimamea9813 the hottest months locally known as “Summer” although meteorologists refer to this period as the dry season. But most of us Filipinos, however, loosely use the term "Summer" to refer to the warm months of the dry season, usually from March to June.

@@amissaanimamea9813 we don’t have to Google it. We’ve learned that fact in Grade School back in the 80’s. Back then, we have Summer vacation from March till June. That’s why the hottest months in the Philippines is called Summer. Baguio is even considered as the Summer capital of the Philippines. Yea buddy. Any san Miguel product will do it. Pop the top and pour contents not into the half pinoy. It’s fun to drink info a sari sari store chewing the fat. Personally, I like pokari sweat, it’s the equivalent of gatorade and is refreshing. Tell ‘em Dave in Cebu sent ya. Stay cool bro.

I think you need to wear long sleeve spf protection breathable shirts. You know the stuff the surfers wear. I don’t mess with cotton shirts and light colored shirt anymore and just wear these. You may see the motor bike riders wear these shirts as well.

Kurt, huwag mong hayaang matuyo ang shirt mo sa katawan. Baka magka pulmonya ka. Mag dala ka ng extra shirt. Also, DO NOT drink cold water right away. If you do, uminom ka ng luke warm then mga 5 mins,puede ka ng mag inom ng malamug.
