We used to watch this show with my stepdad (Vietnam vet). He used to ask us to identify which firearms were being fired. We could pick out the M16, M60, AK47, and the Car-15 being fired.
Its not like they had the same budget as a big movie like Platoon or FMJ, i think the production company had only one copter, and it was one of the short frame 204 Hueys.
Camera on that side? ahving said that a lot of carrier based ops the pilot drove from that side - that way he could see the deck control . . . . . the trouble is this is Army NOT Navy!
