@adamlewis_outdoor no. That was one of the best/worst experiences of my life. I dropped the black rack, which caused him to stop. I reached down to grab my crossbow, he bolted, then stopped about 20 yards away behind some saplings. I had a tiny window, I tried to thread it, arrow nicked a sapling and deflected into his liver. My buddy was hunting about a half mile away, he bumped my buck on his way over to pick me up. Buck crossed a river onto some private we don't have permission on. Got permission and continued the track the next day. He left a 2 mile long blood trail. Trail dried up, and I never found him. That ones gonna sting for a while. Stupid shot to take, and we got overzealous in the track
