Vlad, thanks for this interview. It's refreshing to listen to articulate, intelligent, educated black men tell their story without feeling like having to say "My daddy was a pimp. My mom was a hustler. I killed a man. I got a gang of kids" All that ignorance is draining and is detrimental to the community

Truly Julie I’m sure you made him very happy. Can you imagine not being an adult for that long before the whole world knows who you are and really not even knowing what it’s like to live a normal average life? I just feel like fame is totally opposite of popularity. Someone like me would benefit from popularity because it gives me a chance to explore more areas of various opportunities of this world. But someone famous can’t stay out in the open and be free. Unfortunately, it seems like they have to close so much of this world off and stay isolated with such a small portion of people that you are restricted to that includes business associates, family, close friends. out if that small portion, how many of those are genuine and even if they are your close friends. How many end up working for you, because if they are going to be able to live on your level of daily life. They pretty much need to be living your same lifestyle. It’s just sad because I think many artists just want to still enjoy playing music and not all of the other insanity that comes with it. It’s like every second of your life is planned and nothing is spontaneous.

My best friend committed suicide when we were 19 . There was no indication until it was in hindsight. He hung out with me his last night and did so purposefully. I'm 35 now and I've cried maybe twice over it. I never really dealt with it. Definitely helped lead me into a decade of drug addiction I'm just freshly coming out of. But ya man sui ide is a tough one and all it does is pass your pain on to your closest friends and family.

I don’t think anything happened. I’ve had a similar experience, and tbh when u are very suicidal, u almost are happier. Tbh it’s how I love to this day is off of knowing I’m not forced to be here. I think Tim was in that space. That’s why he was so just normal seeming. Sometimes the pressures of life feel so relieved when you come to that realization. Then one day you just hit a point where it’s like damn I’m content with my decision now, and you commit the act. To everyone else it’s just a shock, and they all think you were feeling this pain, but you really don’t have to be. Now from my own personal experience, yes you do get a little down and anxious when you are about to do it. It’s probably why he didn’t eat. Also highly depressed people can just warp. They will be fine, and then all it takes is one just week where you feel like shit, and then it’s over. Just saying this, I don’t know what anyone could’ve done. Obviously with a situation like this I can see why it was so easy for Tim to do it. He had everything, he did everything there was to do in this pointless thing called life, but behind that, behind all the glamour, he personally probably didn’t feel like he had a purpose. He stopped touring, and he did music almost his life. He was stuck to being this icon forever that I don’t know if he even wanted to be anymore. He was able to travel everywhere around the world, and by 28 he did almost everything that interested him. He had so much wealth. He truly beat the game of life way too young. Most people don’t have Tim to think about this stuff as they have normal jobs, and ect. Tim didn’t have anything like that. He was stuck to this icon, and everyone he kinda knew was attached to it. Once you get to his level there is no going back. You can’t just go out down the street, and you can’t just live normal. So considering all of that, I think it’s 100% understandable with what he did. I have bad anxiety to the point I can’t really talk to new people without my face going numb, I know he had bad social issues too. For him it was probably a nightmare, and there was no escaping what he became. He either just lived in the glamour life, or he tried to live normal, but never knew who was real or fake anymore. For Tim personally, avicii was the worst thing to ever happen to him. Sure it made him, but it also killed him. I know we wouldn’t of ever know him, but for him personally, it would’ve been best if he connected his life to normal society. Everything he became just didn’t fit him. He loved it, but he also said avicii isn’t Tim himself. I also think so Tim was a person who doesn’t see much meaning to the world, and I’m kinda in the same boat. Normal jobs are viewed as useless, and ect. I think just Tim’s end was really destined from the start. The only shot he ever would’ve had is if avicii didn’t exist. Now I know that’s sad to a lot, but for him personally, avicii was the worst thing ever. It also caused major health issues. Obviously he might not agree if he was here, but realistically seeing all the issues it caused, it killed him. By his early 20s he had money just flowing out his ass. He went into this lifestyle and never really had to be a normal adult. To deal with all of his mental struggles from not growing up in a normal way to be a adult, and in a way that was awful for his social issues, and mind set, it caused him to drink, and that also destroyed him. There was no escaping the damage avicii caused, and the damage mentally it caused. Just no one should blame anyone. Nothing anyone could do, and no one would stop it. You either prolong it, or it just happens, but it was never going away. I mean look as his songs. It was clear how he felt for a long time. I think lord is a great song to show case that. He viewed himself as just this thing, and a item. It’s very sad, but it’s the truth. May Tim rest. I don’t believe in the after life, but if there is one, hopefully Tim found it.

Avicii was a fabulous and famous electric beats music DJ but he was also more. He produced awesome music and pulled in awesome singers w great lyrics. He was his own genre that brought different culture and different styles and different people together!! He was his own original and it’s so sad. Many who carry their own unique style as artist and don’t follow the style of the day and rise to such heights of many living them because they are so awesome w their own unique style seem to always leave this world way too soon!! It’s like they say It’s too good to be true on other things but a talented musician it’s like ITS too good to stay and continue to share such great sounds of talent!! The good die young became a famous quote because it’s so true!!
