It's fascinating how often that happens. It's rarely the first iteration that's remembered, but those who saw the potential and ran with it

TheGamingBrit has something of an unintentional miniseries about RiverHillSoft. He covered both Overblood games and Doctor Howser. Based on those videos, RiverHillSoft was peak 90s jank in the best way.

These games might look unimpressive now, but back then they were mind blowing. I remember the first time I played Resident Evil. I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

Great video. A humble request, but have you done a SH symbolism episode on Travis Grady? 🤔

I’m not sure if there was one on the character alone but there was definitely a video or two covering the game. I remember gamingmuse saying this game in particular reflected the part of America they were from making it more relatable to them. Good channel this one.

I see Survival Horror as a sorta sub genre to graphic adventures.. I’m not very good at these games myself but the style is still fascinating

OverBlood, there's a flashback - I have to go and watch the old Consolevania reviews of the series again now, lol :)

I remember some talk about the 3DO when it was on the market but I didn't see one until many years later. None of my friends had one.

I disagree a little bit on the part that a 2D game made of pixels can't be scary. Just look at Clock Tower, aside of the jump scares, it has a great atmosphere that makes you feel uneasy and nervous even when nothing is really happening when you are not been chased. And the ports of Clock Tower for both PC and PS1 are basically the same game, with some extra content sure but with only few visually and audible improvements and there are people that doesn't even like said improvements at all. By the way, LaPlace no Ma for PC-88 looks more creepy than the Super Famicom port and something curious about the PC-Engine CD port is, that it was published by Human Entertainment two years before they released Clock Tower for the Super Famicom in 1995.

I don't miss Vegas crashing. Part of why I ended up using Premiere Pro. And hey, if you're hiring, I'd love to be an editor~ Love these videos so much. Great companions for my working hours.
