One of my favorite pieces, and a great rendition of it. So many people just blow through it quickly, but it deserves a slower, more contemplative speed like this. I have only been playing classical guitar for about 6 months, but this is one of my main goals (along with Sor 35-22)

Thank you very much for your kind comment. It is a very enigmatic and beautiful piece. Indeed much of the vihuela repertoire from the 16th century is great.

Where would one find the music for this piece of music in open guitar? Generally, when I hear this piece, it’s played with a capo however I note you aren’t using one, hence that is the nature of my inquiry . Regards Blair

Dear Blair, if you play the piece without a capo the music will sound a minor third lower. One could of course play with a capo, which I do occasionally, but I do find the sound of the "open" guitar strings more pleasing and natural sounding. I guess this piece is available many places online. I use Mudarras intabulation from a facsimile of the first edition. Wish you all the luck!
