This is the 2nd hike I did on my adventure at Great Basin National Park in Nevada! The Alpine Lakes Loop Trail is labeled as easy at 2.7 miles and 469 feet of elevation gain. This is an extremely beautiful trail that passes 2 Lakes Teresa and Stella Lakes. The scenery on the entire hike is mind-blowingly beautiful and is not to be missed when visiting this national park.

I am extremely surprised you haven't been here yet but at least it's not far from home so you easily can visit soon. I would say here and the Ruby Mountains are the most beautiful parts of our great state! Thanks for checking this out 😁👍

Loved that title shot with the rain drops on the lake, pretty cool. That stream was also really cool. Loved the grass and plants growing next to it, made it really stand out. This place looks like it should be in the high sierras somewhere. Great job capturing it Eric.

Great Basin National Park and the Ruby Mountains are probably the most beautiful parts of Nevada! Glad the title shot came out well! Yes I agree the stream going into Teresa Lake was so beautiful! Yeah the rain is very common in the summertime there. I know we talked about Wheeler Peak and unfortunately I was unable to do that the next day because I had really bad altitude sickness on this hike and the one before. I don't remember ever having that issue before but it's common. I will go back though and give it another shot. Can't wait to see your video of the hike and I'm sure you will do a beautiful job with it. Randy thank you so much for watching.

Yeah It was really cool having a gorgeous trail like this all to myself! The scenery was just unreal! I ended up having a couple well deserved Rum Punches when I got back to my hotel 😆. Thanks for watching Anthony!

that something to come across a tree in a tree and the lakes looked clear and refreshing but cold to go into from the way you were dress the high elevation must keep the temp's down even in July, enjoyed the hike

What a lovely hike! I love when there is barely anyone on the trail. Teresa Lake was on the low side. Were you wearing all the layers you own that day ;D LOL Definitely not what one would expect from a day in Nevada in July. It must have been nice though. The rain wasn't raining as hard as for your other hike which is nice. Beautiful views at Stella Lake, it must have been a great moment to sit and take it all in. Thank you so much to taking us throughout your beautiful state Eric!

Yes an extremely beautiful hike! Teresa Lake was extremely low. When I was here 3 years ago it was totally full and looked a lot different. But thankfully that beautiful steam going into the lake was still there. The temperature drop and the light rain was totally a god sent to me 😁. It was so wonderful arriving at Stella Lake and not another person! Even though I was unable to do Wheeler Peak the next day I still had a great adventure at Great Basin National Park! The water appears to be pretty low...but very clear...water levels are low in many regions...just not having the rains even here in Eastern Canada as in the past...
