Does the Micro Bypass go between the factory wiring and the Alpine brick amp, or does the MicroBypass go between the brick amp and the head unit?

Can you help me out on settings with this amp. I'm ruining it in 2 channel for front speakers only. I'm powering s-s69c, 85w rms. Frequency resp. 65hz to 120khz.

So far sounds very good but like you I do not want loud I want great quality sound. Considering i already have a nice setup.. do you think by adding this AMP will it make a big difference?.. i'm looking for quality sound... not just loud sound

What do you think of bridging the channels to get more power if you have only 2 Speakers connected? I purchased the 445A and found a modification, where the negative green wire from the radio is connected to the negative white from the amp and the postive pruple wire is connected to the postive grey wire of the amp. +green, -white, +grey and -purple needs to be cutted. It would be very helpfull, if anybody has experience with this modification.

In he bypass connection am I cutting the black wire and splicing in the bypass black and existing black together? Sorry new to this.

Hi , I have one of these and if I was to convert the input signal wires to RCA phono jacks( like the 445U version ), would I be able to then run an EQUALIZER signal into it. If this makes sense 🤔

do you have to leave the in-line fuse on the yellow when connecting to stock ford harness? or can I remove it and just do yellow to yellow no fuse?

Hey how do you change the gain on the ktp-445a (not ktp-445u) ? On the ktp-445a i cant physically find the gain adjustment or the high pass frequency switches unlike on the ktp-445u the gain adjustment is on one end of the amp next to the harness plug and the HPF switches are on the bottom under a rubber cover... on my ktp-445a i literally cant find any of these and dosent look like there is any way to tune/adjust it?? Or is it tuned/adjusted through headunit itself?

I need a wire diagram, or pin out for my ktp-445A. Ive only got one of the two harnesses. So im tryong to cobble one together with a used stock alpine hu harness.

What guage wire is the power/ground? I need to wire it to the battery because it cuts off at half volume.

Thanks for covering this product. Mine is giving me fits. First question. Why is it only recommended for alpine 2005 and up? And. Did you have to force in the original alpine harness? You edited that out... The male hu harness and female brick input socket really do not match very well. Alpine Qaulity control? Last. Can i use the ktp445U harness instead of speaker level inputs? Basically a ktpU input harness on a ktpA amplifier.. Your reply would be greatly appreciated. And. Fyi.. This first version does not have dip switches for high pass crossover. Ive opened it up and looked. For those who are wondering.

I have an alpine receiver UTE-73BT and the KTP-445A with 8 speaker in a suburban. I have not wired it up yet but won't be using any factory wires. Can I wire 8 speakers or should I buy another 445? Just want decent sound. The 1994 Burb is the hunting ride only.

Hi, I owned the 445u previously and installed it in a previous vehicle. Now, this time I didn't realize the 445A is different which is what I now bought for my 2010-2015 GMC TERRAIN. Saying that. I already bought the RCA Plug adapter from Install Bay on Ebay which with this 445A I won't need it. Do you know how this 445A will adapt to my wires near the original factory amp that has 3 plugs with many different wires going to it. I already tried to find wiring schematics or diagrams which weren't available for free. Do you all have the wiring schematics for the factory amp and this 445A inputs and output sides. That information will be very helpful for my coming install this weekend. Please help. Thanks in advance.

How would I hook the ktp 445a to a non alpine radio and what do I do with the extra wires I don’t need

@ fivestarcarstereo I have a question can I bypass the factory amp to install the KTA-450 without having to run all new speaker wire? Is there and kind of harness or adapter plug to bypass this factory amp? Thank you for your time.

Is there a problem if the fuse in my car radio is 10 amps?

The micro bypass doesn't work on the Alpine ilx-w650, I also tried a SPDT relay And still nothing. Turns out that this model won't receive the brakes signals until the screen is done loading, and it takes about 7-10 seconds to load. Since the micro bypass and relays are activated as soon As the key is switched, then the only bypass that would work if a manual toggle switch.

Could you bridge it for 2 channels
