It’s crazy that Alpinestar makes the best everything. I have two of their jackets and I also own the Tech5 air vest which has saved my life once…..so far. No other company seems to have the quality and craftsmanship that Alpinestar has.
Yes, I also think so. Got 50 pieces of Alpinestars gear now. I have been riding with them since 2013 and I have tried a lot of other brands too, but I always returned to Alpinestars.
A Mesh Jacket is nice for Hot Days.. but you need a zip in liner for cooler at night . I was having a hard time to find an armored mesh shirt . I finally found such a thing in a Knox Shirt. Very heavy and flexible armor.. They say that Knox Invented and Pioneered armored riding gear. Black absorbs the sun and can be extra hot on a Sunny day .. I wish mesh shirts and jackets were offered more in light colors.. I did not look on your web page. Maybe it is offered in White , I don't know .
I just picked one up for my first riding jacket, I'm riding a 2023 honda grom. This jacket is not to bad, I'm 511 at 160lbs & i needed a XXL. The price tag was $300 out the door here in wnc. I definitely dig this jacket
This is for sure a nice jacket but there is a 0.0% chance you needed an XXL size. You are only 10lbs heavier than Max and he is in a small. If the jacket it too loose and you fall the protectors will most likely not be in the right place. - Van
@Sportbike Track Gear well I started with a large then xl then XXL. I'm telling you it's some weird stuff, I wear M shirts 🤷 and this jacket is just the right size.
With any of the Alpinestars jacket using international sizing most will get the fit they need if they order the same size they would wear in a t-shirt. If you are under 5' 10" sometime sleeve length can be a little long if you need a size over X-Large. - Van
The cut on this jacket is a little more fitted than the other models we just reviewed. For riders that prefer more operating room best to go up one size to achieve that fit. - Van
