Every decade past the 50s and upto the 90s moved so fast. Then we hit mid 2000 and you can barely tell the difference past 2010. Slight variations in the same genres, trends of styles and thats it

@@AutPen38 The first cut is the deepest is a wonderful song. One of the few songs the clever Cat has written that I prefer to be sung by PP rather than Cat himself. Her vocals are just epic on that masterpiece of a song.

21 back then, absolutely adored the music and then listening to them on london's pirate radio stations. I couldn' wait to go down to a local record store and browse through all the vinyls and cd singles. Good times!!

Wasn't even legally of age to go to clubs or raves in the 1990s but this makes me very nostalgic for hearing these songs on my mum's cassettes and CDs as a nip!

I remember buying their album, Full On Mask Hysteria...learning to dance to my cassette tapes of Tom Wilson's 'Steppin Out' recorded from Radio Forth (R.I.P Tom, you were a legend, sadly missed) and just being a wee kid who wanted to go to raves. Think I was 14/15 when this came out...it still makes me want to dance!
Remember coming home from school playing this and jumping around on the sofa wearing a dust mask and crushing paracetamol and trying to snort it off the kitchen table. Yeah I went hard that day.
"Altern 8" was the very 1st techno-rave group I saw perform live at an "Underground-party"(what we use to call it)here in the state of Ca,US 20 years ago in 1992.Btw,still remember that 10 ft robot dancing on the stage.

This was the first hardcore tune I ever heard. My mates older brother had it on 7” and we scratch the hell out of it on his old mans old turn table. I was hooked and never looked back
