Another alternate Joker I admire is the Red Hood from “Batman: The Brave and The Bold” as its a hero Joker that fell into the vat of chemicals by Owlman. But what I love is that, although his plans were foiled by the Injustice syndicate and disfigured and all alone. He didn’t break, and he continued to keep fighting.
I would love it if you could talk about the 2004 animated Joker, or just the 2004 series in general. It's really unique and I feel like it doesn't get nearly enough love.
While The Trickster is a separate character from Joker, Mark Hamill’s Trickster from Earth-3 in the Arrowverse is definitely supposed to be a Joker. He looks just like Conrad Veidt’s “The Man Who Laughs”
I would LOVE to see a flashpoint Joker story- The idea that it's Martha Wayne as The Joker and Thomas Wayne as The Batman is SUPER INTERESTING to me. I also really like The Jester, wish he had a bigger role-

But she learns Bruce Becomes Batman, runs off because she believes that he'll grow up to be a killer, falls into the well that Bruce fell into but dies? Idk if that's correct or not but it's a cool story. They should've added it in the film tbh
One Joker I would love for you to talk about and cover is the one Telltale did played by Anthony Ingruber I love that version in the second game specifically. Especially the vigilante path you can take him and where he tries to be a Hero. That last episode with vigilante Joker fighting side by side with Batman is Iconic. Plus the relationship between Bruce and "John" is just special. One of my favourite Batman stories created
No way, the Snyder Cut of *Justice League* showed that he could be a decent Joker. People just got too caught up in the "Leto sucks" meme, and pretend that there was nothing at all in his performance to get internet points... but costumes sells don't lie, we know that there are a lot of closet fans of the DCEU Joker. I hereby predict that future generations will look upon him with more kindness than ours. I, for one, would love to watch the Ayer Cut of *Suicide Squad* to see that scene of Joker forcing Monster T to kill himself, and later negotiate with Enchantress, and then confront the Squad with a grenade to get Harley back. One day, one day...
Michael McKean fit perfectly as a 1950’s Joker from an episode of BTAS, “Legends of the Dark Knight”. In the same episode, Michael Ironside did a fantastic job as the Dark Knight Returns version of Batman. One of the best episodes! McKean would later play the Joker’s psychologist in the Dark Knight Returns animated movie.

You can also mention the Joker from Animal Kaiser, a Japanese import fighting game we have in Malaysia. Here, he's a purple Komodo Dragon, since these animals are intelligent as they unpredictable, supposedly the most evil animal in the game. He even looks like Jared Leto's mob boss aesthetic with a cigar and various rings.
Have you brought up the Jokester yet? He was another heroic alternate version of the Joker from Earth-3, making his first (and only) appearance in the Countdown to Infinite Crisis event. In which case I can't really blame you for not mentioning him. Nobody should have to read Countdown.
Idk if this counts, but in my eyes it does. Dexter's Laboratory had segments that parodied Marvel and DC called The Justice Friends. In one episode, it opens with Major Glory (the show's version of Captain America merged with Batman) facing off against a villain named Disgruntled Postman. The character is voiced by Tom Kenny and is basically the Joker in all but name and outfit. Though would it really be that out of the question for Joker to mail a nuke to a political figure dressed as a postal worker?
It would have been interesting if Cesar Romero had not been the original Joker. I wonder if there's a screen test or a publicity shot somewhere of the actor in white makeup.

It’s a shame they didn’t show more of Matha Wayne Joker. technically I don’t think she was in the mainline Flashpoint comics either but she was in a flashpoint spinoff comic, and there, Martha Wayne Joker would make jack Napier Joker say “calm down lady”.
I'm surprised that the Samurai Joker from that CGI anime movie wasn't covered at all while being shown he seems to fit perfectly in this video. To be fair The Jester is cool but being aware of the Jokester from the comics... I just find his original design more appealing, but I agree for the name, Jester is much better.
They didn’t want to associate the Joker with the Japanese because at the time, not only were we at war, but the Japanese were committing unspeakable atrocities across Asia. I don’t have any sympathy for the Nazi aligned Japanese and neither should you. If DC said that today, that would be one thing, but at the time it was perfectly understandable and the right move. A nation’s morality is not static and you can’t view this from a modern lens. Just a note to anyone reading who may be unread on WW2 era history, the Nazis weren’t the only bad guys. The entire Axis were working together to control various parts of the world. WW2 was literally kicked off by the combined forces of Germany and Russia invading Poland. Russia only became an Ally after Germany betrayed them 2 years later. In short, the Nazis had help from a lot of other shit bags.
I'd be very interested in your take on the Joker fromTelltale Games Batman game. Basically he's shaped by both Batman and Harley Quinn, who predates him in this telling. Your actions as Batman determine what kind of Joker he becomes and it does some interesting things with the Batman and Joker dynamic. Especially since he first meets Batman outside of costume as Bruce Wayne while he's in his pre-Joker days, while Bruce Wayne is locked up in Arkham Asylum.

I really wish Grey DeLisle got to do more with the character. That version is so interesting, Grey is a fantastic voice actor, and that laugh has got to be one of the most chilling Joker laughs ever put on screen.
Personally I think my favorite alternate Jokers are the ones in Arkham Knight. There's several different individuals who are turning into Jokers who Batman is studying for a cure, and each one ends up inheriting some of Joker's qualities while still feeling like a uniquely different individual. I'd like to see that idea get used again for something in the future, but have them stick around a bit longer and get to be more like Joker underlings in charge of their own sub-factions of Joker's gang or something. If Batman gets to have his own little Bat Family, why can't Joker assemble a sort of messed up Joker Family to mirror it?
I would like to see a review of “Harley Quinn.” I’m actually really surprised that you haven’t so much as talked about it. It’s probably the best animated dc show I’ve seen since “Justice League.”

(Poison Ivy was pretty cool in that season though, but sadly much that Black Mask in season 2 and Alice in season 1, they were good villains played by good actors, but stuck in a crappy show)
My fave not Joker Joker must be Mark Hamill as the Earth-3 Trickster. That begged, and begged, and begged some more that we could have had a 'Welcome to Earth-3' two-parter, alas not in this part of the multiverse. 😕

Yes and no. Yes, he didn't kill any innocent civilians. He mostly killed mob guys, government officials, vigilantes and cops. But also no, because he called himself a "better class of criminal"

The Joker movie is just a movie aboot a clown where they slapped Joker's name on for brand reconition, that is it. Don't see the main character as a version of the Joker at all.
There are three superhero Jokers that have appeared in media--Jokester (from the comics), Jester (from the movie), and Red Hood of Earth 3 (from the cartoon). I love the character, honestly.
