If you’re dealing with Alternating Constipation and Diarrhea, or IBS, and you’re wondering how can I be constipated and have diarrhea at the same time, you don’t want to simply search for a diarrhea remedy or a constipation remedy. Yeah, it's not the most common cause of the alternating, but it often is a contributing factor. I go into the circadian rhythm stuff in a lot more depth in every book I've written because it can be such a big deal for some many issues.

I have a question regarding diarrhea. I took Tudca twice a day for about 6 weeks for gallbladder sludge. The right rib cage pain is now gone, but I’ve had diarrhea 1-2x/day for the past week. Did I overdo it on the Tudca or somehow throw my system out of whack? -Debbie

Hi Debbie, in about 1 out of 25-50 diarrhea cases, I will see that the person will have loose stools because bile is flowing well, but there is not enough stomach acid. So an overly alkaline stool can cause an irritation just like an overly acidic stool can when bile is not flowing well. A person could test this out by adding HCL to their meal and seeing dose the loose stool get better, or does it get MUCH worse. If it gets worse, you know you just need to put a lot more effort into fixing the sludge and getting bile moving. We've never seen TUDCA alone fix really poor bile flow. It's more of a replacement for the bile for that meal. Most people need to follow these steps to really get bile moving: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mBdV6ZT9woQ.html But if you test out the HCL, that could give you an indication of what is going on. Thanks for the info and in my case my diarrhea comes after 4 days of constipation but not lbm and so sad coz even if i want to sleep it comes out and i have to be in diapers.
