Honestly, its a sad ending for Australia. They never enjoy full independence from either the British Empire or the German one. After some hope in the Second World War for independence, those hopes are slashed with the Kaiser fleeing to Australia. The outback is reduced to decades of warfare with no end in sight. Although, I'm seeing the potential for a three way cold war between the Soviets, American Syndicalists and China with the Weltreich being reduced to the position of an ally rather than leader. Nonetheless, Australia has been relegated to being a proxy for the larger powers to bully around.
@Székely - Good Point, haven't really thought about that but we also have to consider that fact that they're most likely also very dependent on Australia to quash their own Socialist Movements.

I meant it in the sense that unlike say mainland Germany or Brazil, they didn't just straight up become a Communist State or a Soviet Puppet, yes they are in a Horrible Position with them loosing [I think] the Outback War but at least they have a chance to fight on alongside New Zealand as the Weltreich Remnants.

Kinda unrealistic. Like the other British dominions, it's gonna be kinda hard to assimilate Australians into German culture as the former's core is very strong in there especially due to settler colonialism and feelings of racial superiority. A much more plausible option is a bilingual system, with English being the local language and German being the language of government. Maybe to further legitmize the claim on the Britsh dominions, Willy could claim the British throne for himself and his descendants?
Agreed, altho u could say that they haven’t had it as bad as say Africa or North America and that they’ll have to struggle more if they’re gonna hold on as the last remnants of the Weltreich.

Honestly it is a interesting thought as I don't realistically see the Australian Royalists putting down the revolt altogether, a Partition would be more realistic.
I can see Australia possibly divided in mid 20s, and Carl Friedrich becoming king as Friedrich V. somewhere around 2040... It would be fun to see a "Alternate Future of Australia" video.

@@CharactersBattles107 Hmm, well Look, Currently the war is a stalemate as while the Commies were technically winning, the Royalists held them back, guessing that considering 80% of the Nations of the World are Communist or something like that and that the Weltreich will now struggle A LOT to survive, I'd say that the war would be a draw as the 2 sides might agree to partition the country along current lines or just give OTL W.A. to the commies, either way, I'm pretty sure that the Australian Monarchy can survive and continue being the Last Bastion against the Commie onslaught [P.S. - Soz if this was too long].

Waltzing Matilda is about a poor man stealing a sheep from the rich and when he is caught by the cops he chooses death instead of prison. And some consider the song a rebel song, fitting this video since toward the end the country is split between the red rebels and the wealthy monarch, a sad ending.

This is indeed a sad story. But countries will be forever what they were always supposed to be; Mental. No matter the borders, no matter the ruler.... Countries are more than just lines on a map. They are identity. If you are Australian and can life and identify yourself with the German Government in Exile, thinking that they are no more the colonizer but members of your country, your mindset, than everything is fine. And since the video mentioned the Australians mourning Josias' death and calling him Aussie, I think that they are happy. That Australia is what it always was: The USA of the Pacific Ocean. A country made out of many ethnicities, many cultures, waking up in the morning and thinking; We are Australia. And they will defeat the Bolsheviks. Of course they will. No matter how long it will take. Australia's faith is up to themselves.
Funny how the Kaiser still calls the remainder of the German colonies the "Great Weltreich" even after the humiliating defeat and occupation of the mainland in Europe
