Plus Poland wouldn't have a port to the baltic sea wich was the reason Danzic, which was 100% german, was given to them, making Poland far more dependent from Germany
+Drex The Northern African nations are known as mena nations to the middle east and are politically speaking, considered part of the middle eastern regions.
These alternate treaties seem atleast plausible, compared to the other ones i've seen, and i really like the border changes, their not too extreme, but not too similar either. In fact. i'd say it's great and could even possibly followed the timeline route actually taken in real life. In other words. Clever, but simple!
@@liker-qd4fz In 1920, Armenia was under the control of the Transcaucasian Federative Republic. However, with the terms of the treaty and the ongoing Russian Civil War, it would likely mean Armenia under its de jure control under the Russian Republic, seeing as nobody recognized Transcaucasia.
Come on... At the end of the war, the Italian Army already arrived to the Brenner Pass. Is not credible that, with the peace treaty, they would revert back, giving back to Austria 13.607 km2 of territory, including not only South Tyrol, but even the Italian speaking Trentino, when, at the same time, France were awarded with the entire Alsace-Lorraine.
Hamburg to UK is unrealistic even in AH. Also the Bulgarian and Ottoman treaties were essentially the same. Tyrol even in an AH would have gone to Italy. A more likely AH treaty for Austria-Hungary would have seen just an Austro-Hungarian Union. This is honestly the most terrible alternate treaties in ever seen.
@@void_wyrm I mean, Italy didn't even get South Tyrol, much less anything in the Balkans. Italo-German relations are either gonna tank or soar after this TL's Anschluß.
Before unification there were some british client states in northern Germany, most notably Hannover. I guess that in this video they chose Hamburg instead of Hannover because Hamburg is a territory not so far from british islands. An inner city like Hannover would require at best giving Germany duty's money every time some brit'd need to reach the city. At best.
if middle east is African (not really) then what is north-west sharan region (I guess according to the youtuber who uploaded the video about EUROPE) and I guess that all of Russia is asian according to this *NOT REALLY I WAS JUST TRYING TO ALTERNATE THE MISTAKES OF CONTINECTS
Daniel Burke O Donoghue Little known fact: Istanbul was also given to the Greeks in real life. Then they ambitiously declared war to reclaim even more territory in Anatolia, but were driven out by the Turks.
Cretium not sure.... but the king of England was the king of Hannover for a long time so maybe they want it back? I don’t think they were very interested in it during WW1 however.
@@chillaxo9863 belgium is a part french and the other considered dutch and the part that borders germany it's the french side so your coment doesn't make sense
At least the Ottomans did not have it as bad as our Treaty of Sevres. That completely butchered Turkey, but it backfired when Mustafa Kemal pissed off and reconquered a ton of land, forcing the Triple Entente to sign the Treaty of Lausanne.
Wait how is the Austro Hungarian empire going to pay their portion if there is no empire left does only Austria and Hungary pay or does every nation that was in it pay.
The lands in middle east can't be taken by Britain alone. The French would not accept, as Britain promised them more land... UK is making too many gains with this treaty :/
Wait we don't even get Trentino and trieste!?!?!?!? WHAT THE FUCK DUDE! That's why we went to war against the central powers! What about the treaty of london!?!?!?
Hungary never lost that much land in Transylvania it's just that a war between Hungary and Romania + allies were fought right after ww1 because of the disputed region. The Italians wanted Trentino, no way that it would stay Austrian.
If it were better, it would have been historical. Only so much room to maneuver with history as recent as this. We all know what everyone wanted and what they realistically got and could keep.
Krešimir Koržinek Right after the end of ww1, Hungary as a communist state invaded Romania for the disputed Transylvania and then they invaded Slovakia which led to the whole Transylvania to Romania and the carpathes became chezchoslovakia.
Why the heck would East Prussia be independent? That’s literally where Germany basically started! Prussia was declared independent there! Prussia united Germany! How doesn’t that add up?!
Nick... what is your opinion about immigrant crisis in europe? And since you're German what is your opinion on Koln attacks on christmas? Im not from Germany, i just wan't to know your opinion
