If I came to a bridal salon and said I didn't want a fluffy white traditional wedding dress, I'd be furious at these suggestions.

Gorgeous dress... I think that hint of historical really suited her. And I just want to say... I didn't feel her requirements were that insane. She wanted untraditional; there should be ROOM for that at such a large bridal boutique. The "she may be leaving without a frock" comment was just unnecessary and unprofessional.

A bolero jacket would be easier to make. It can be made with lace, sleeves, high neckline, and either buttons on the front or back. It can be worn over a sweetheart neckline and mimic a Victorian style dress.

Lovely. I, too, am not a fan of belts on a wedding dress, but it worked well as a headband!

This lady is a sheeth dress in satin if I ever saw one.... low v neck satin off white Maybe sleeves or one of those trains that start at the shoulders like a cape. Orrrrr sheeth dress and vintage lace alllllll over.
