For some reason the second bride, Vannessa, reminded me of the Vicar of Dibley (Dawn French). I think it was her personality. She was upbeat and funny and not ashamed of her body. Jo and Al are miracle workers. I really love them. They take body conscious, skeptical brides and turn them into princesses. Their genuine love, compassion and understanding is what does the trick. They deserve medals.

I had weight loss surgery 12 years ago, lost 160lbs and have kept it off, but it is a lifestyle change. So many people I know who also had the surgery have gained their weight back, some gained even more than they originally started out. It's not just about how much you eat, its also about what you eat.

I LOVE Jo and Al, they are just brilliant!!! I've seen all these before (a few times) and yet I still gasp when the bride comes out in "the" dress!!

She is so blessed to have such a wonderful sister. My sister passed away a year ago. We used to watch say yes to the dress and daydream of a version like the curvy brides boutique when we were in highschool. Her sisters comments remind me so much of my own sisters support. I wish she could be at my wedding, but since she cant be, ill make sure i do her proud. And wear what makes me feel as beautiful as she thought i was.

Weight loss surgery is definitely a life style change, I had the sleeve done 3 yrs ago, proud of her wanting to make that change. She's beautiful

i'd really love these two bridal consultants...they both embody a therapist, a mother, a sister and a friend. kind of like what you actually want to have as a consultant, not just someone who's there to sell you a dress. i love them

"We know what Nathan wants" Yeah, a new mom!! I dated a much younger guy, years ago, I already had children and couldn't have anymore because I had to have a hysterectomy when I was only 26, and broke off the relationship as soon as I knew he wanted children of his own. Things change when there's a big age difference and both end up wanting different things. I had already experienced things he hadn't and deserved to experience having children. As they get older, he will change as he matures and who knows if they'll be on the same page still. I wish them well.

I did it with a nutritionist and lost 125 lbs down to 160lbs. when I was 35. I’m 78 now and still weigh about 160 lbs. irs a complete change of eating habit!

I had a gastric bypass in 2004 when I was a size 24…..it was truly not as difficult as I envisioned. I learned to live with what I could and couldn’t eat which wasn’t too much! Now 20 years later I am still a size 8/10 and love my life. No regrets whatsoever.

I love these 2 women, they make these women feel beautiful. I was Charlie 2yrs ago so understand Exactly how these women coming into the shop feel. I never looked in the mirror 7st heavier. I would look at my face and want to cringe. I still have a way to go, but I'm almost there. I don't hate myself now, I kinda like me. These women look beautiful in their dresses 🥰
