lots of props. awful lot of hating going on too though. why can't people just appreciate that dnali bought what he wanted and put some time effort and money into it. HIS money. so who cares how he spends HIS money. not sure I like the wheel choice but overall very subtle and clean.

I can appreciate people who take a stock vehicle and make it their own. I did the same thing with my 2007 Ford Edge SEL and slowly but surely with my 1976 Chevrolet Camaro. I am also helping my GF do her vehicle as well.

Love the gold rims and the blacked out silver trim. I have a 2002 2.5se and aside from all the maintenance things I do on my car, I did add a Nissan stereo from a 2014 with GPS and bluetooth and customized my dash to make it look stock. Thanks for the video.

Hey Man, Nice job! Picking up a black on black 2006 Altima SE 3.5 V6 today. Needs a few touch ups and some detailing but man that motor runs strong. Looking forward to some mods of which the front rotors will be first as they're already slightly warped. I've subscribed to your channel and will catch up on your posts. You gotta have good back pressure in the exhaust system for altima and maxima to get the best power..and for people that have maximas,get rid of the resonator,and install Altima ser mufflers on the maxima,,its the cleanest vq sound ever..

I have an 06' We lowered on tein s-tech's, that I drove on stock struts for about 5 years. Well after 5 years I had to get both front axles and struts replaced as they were dead, I want to drop it again though. For now I have the oem springs back on but I hate the fender gap. Should I go with bc racing coilovers next or put the tein s-tech back on with better struts? I want about a 2 inch drop up front and a 1.5 in the rear.

Just a couple of light coats...... those tails are darker than your tint. The 350 rims are alright, my buddy had those on his r32, but that colour just looks tacky, feels like you tried to go for the subaru bronze look.

Hi DNALI, i have a question regarding upgrading my wheels. I have a 2010 altima sedan and i can get a used altima se r oem wheels, specs are 18x8 45mm offset wrapped on 225x45. My question is would it fit and look okay with the car stock height? No plans of lowering the car i just want to get rid of factory 16 inch on hub cab.

3.5 is the engine size (3.5 litre) and I forget what SE stands for. Sports edition of something along those lines I think but I could also be super wrong on that one. Edit: I googled it n it does mean sports edition. Basically it’s just a different trim level. Just like how Chevy Silverados have the LS (lowest trim) the LT (mid range) and the LTZ for the top class. Hope that helps man.

Why would you invest so much money into an automatic car? I mean an Altima is a great car, but you can put so much money into it but you're still being denied that certain percentage of fun/performance of a manual trans.

shift kit on an automatic will always be faster than a manual. a manual impresses your buddies, automatic wins races.

tmccann1876 Actually, automatics of the late 90's and early/mid 2000's are not that good. And there's a huge delay when you activate + or - on the gear shift/paddle shifters. They're only 4- or 5-speed torque converter autos, not particularly sharp and visceral at shifting like a modern day Maserati or Jaguar F-Type. Plus these older automatics were terrible at downshifting, they don't rev-match like a modern day ZF automatic or something like that. A 6-speed manual Altima 3.5SE (with a good driver) will beat a 5-speed auto Altima 3.5SE, in a straight line, and especially around a track. Either way, lets assume your "automatic Altima is better for races" argument is correct. That doesn't make a difference in the real world, because on a track, its not all about shifting, it's more about knowing how to hit the apex in a corner, when to brake, when to throttle, how to prevent understeer and manage oversteer. I doubt you, me, and the 3.5SE owner in this video are excellent at the things I just mentioned. Therefore even if the automatic transmission is faster (which it isn't), that doesn't mean it makes you a faster driver. Having skillful experience with the steering wheel and your pedals makes you a faster driver, not having an automatic or 1000hp. It's all relative.

whats the difference between the SE-R and SE? they both have the same 3.5 engine. BTW do not buy drilled rotors they provide no benefits and they are prone to crack which can cost you your life, its mostly for looks. However, slotted rotors are very beneficial and grip harder than smooth rotors. If youre looking for better breaking, suspension, handling, and good performance, a good set of high quality summer tires should be your first buy since its the only part of your car that touches the ground it will be the most beneficial. Many have done tests with high quality tires vs suspension such as coilovers, and performance tires always took the cake each lap.
